I cannot change the law of thermodynamics

I work at a brunch spot, and at least once a week I get a table that seems to believe their hot drink should never go cold from sitting out. You order a hot drink such as coffee, matcha etc…..you let it sit out on your table for more than ten minutes in a restaurant blasting AC because it is 100° outside…..it will turn cold. No, I did not serve you a cold drink ten minutes ago. It turned cold because it is physics. No, I can’t stop your drink from getting cold after sitting at your table talking, not touching your drink. I can always offer it in a to go cup with a stopper, but if you order it for “here” it comes in a cute little mug where it is more exposed to the blasting AC. This is legitimately the most annoying complaint I receive working in breakfast. I cannot. Change. Physics. There is no need to be rude or accusatory also, I have no problem going to heat it up or serving you some fresh coffee. The utter lack of critical thinking skills and manners…

Decided to get my hair done after two years

Feel free to laugh, because I have cried enough LOL. Already went back to the salon where another stylist did their best to fix what was done. Unfortunately I will be having my hair pinned back for the time being until they grow out. These are the pictures I showed her, and we both verbally agreed on taking off an inch along with just trimming my framing hairs to make them more like curtain bangs. Spoiler: she took off more than an inch and gave me micro bangs. And yes, I still paid and tipped because I am a wimp and honestly was in complete shock !!

Disney backrooms

A few days ago Rise of the Resistance shut down, and all guests were evacuated along with gifted LL. We were taken through the “backrooms” where I saw the CMs break room, water cooler and this cute little sign they have encouragement. Lol it was a funny experience!
