Are mental health days still a thing the policy allows?

Like I've gone through some serious stress in the last two days, and I'm thinking of calling out soon for mental health, but i don't want to be threatened with shift abandonment if that's not a policy thing anymore.

Wanted advice on choosing a vehicle for future self repairs.

So long story short, I'm about to get a new vehicle, getting rid of my Avalanche. My choices are an 06 Acura TL, an 08 Elantra, and an 08 Malibu.

I"m here asking because I don't have hte income to be paying monthly for a used car at a dealership, my mechanic friend is giving me one of these as a gift, they're working fine now, each one roughly 170k miles, and computer codes are clear except for small evap leaks in the malibu.

I'll be studying and researching how to repair my vehicle myself in the future, I got pretyt handy with it with the Avalache, but it helped that the truck is so big i can climb under it easily.

Any advice on which car? The Acura is getting a used 175k trans from an 06 honda cause it's OG trans crapped out completely , which I'm aware is what they're notorious for, so that doesn't need to be mentioned.

I think I heard the Malibu has notorious electrical problems? I can research this, but I wanted to come to a forum and ask for opinions.
