Cousin Marriage | Pakistani Parents' Favorite Hobby

Why do people get so defensive the moment cousin marriage is questioned?

Someone just mentions the bad side of it, and suddenly everyone becomes the guardian of culture and religion.

Like yes, we get it, “allowed hai.” But so is marrying outside the family. Why does that option scare everyone so much?

Sometimes it feels less like tradition and more like people refusing to get out of their echo chambers.

I know it's going to piss a lot of people – but whatever.

Why don't we speak?

Just a video/rant about something I keep noticing online – how the most racist, misogynistic, brain-dead takes somehow get pushed everywhere!

And honestly, it made me wonder why the rest of us overthink SO MUCH before speaking, while these people just pick up a camera and say anything with full confidence?
