Looking for 1–3 players for a long-term Vanilla SMP

Hey! I'm looking for 1–3 people to start a long-term vanilla Minecraft world.

I'm 13, so it'd be nice if you're around my age (doesn't have to be exactly).

I'm not looking for a speedrun or anarchy server. I want a world where we actually enjoy the journey.

Here's what I have in mind:

  • We start together and share one house.
  • Everyone helps with different things (mining, farming, building, exploring).
  • Later, everyone builds their own base nearby so it feels like a real town.
  • We build roads between our bases.
  • We make shops and trade with each other using a currency we all agree on.
  • We decide things together like the seed, when to fight the Ender Dragon, and other server rules.
  • No griefing, no stealing, and no ruining other people's builds.

I don't care if you're the best builder or the best PvPer. I just want a few people who enjoy building a world together and are willing to stick with it for a long time.

If this sounds fun, send me a DM and tell me a bit about yourself and how you like to play Minecraft!

Lost motivation after my friend backed out. How to enjoy ham radio as a solo teen?

Hey everyone,

I’m a student planning to take my license exam in a few months and get a handheld (looking at a Baofeng).

Originally, my cousin and I wanted to do this together so we could have our own simplex channel to mess around and talk across our local bay (around 8km distance). But he just got a new phone, completely lost interest, and admitted he’s not really into it.

Now that I'm into this completely alone, I’ve lost a lot of motivation. To be honest, I’m not really interested in sitting in my room just chatting about the weather or antenna setups with older guys on repeaters. I wanted that active, tactical "team/adventure" feel with a friend.

For those who started solo as teens/students: how did you find your crowd, or how do you keep the hobby fun and active when you're the only one in your friend group doing it?

Thanks!

Edit: I live in a small village and we dont even have a middle school so I'm very limited when it comes to clubs and stuff :( but still thanks for all the replies!

Hi! So I was never rly into gardening and the other day my cousin and I were talking and we came to strawberries lol. We both agreed we would LOVE to have strawberries we could just pick at home and eat especially bc there isnt rly a grocery store near us. I talked with my dad abt it (im 13 xd) and he said he could buy a strawberry seedling that we could plant in our garden but i still wanna try to grow a strawberry out of a fruit. If I'm able to pull it off i will be so pruod of myself but if not i still got strawberries so its a win-win situation. I would rly appreciate a guide or smth for growing my own strawberries 😃 I wanted to plant cherries before this but i heared that planting it out of a cherry fruit will take years and we dont rly have place for a cherry tree. Thanks in advance!
