I was wanting to take my spouse outside the city to spend some time looking at the stars, but I don’t know where a good place is that would get us away from light pollution. Anybody have any suggestions for something not all that too far from Tacoma? Within maybe an hour or so?
Hey all, this is a long shot. I’m desperate for a haircut and happen to have some time today to get one- does anyone know of any places who do same day or walk-ins for today that won’t butcher my hair? Queer friendly, NB, or female stylist preferred but I know beggars can’t be choosers. My hair is just under shoulder length and I’m just looking for a trim and texturizing.

We live on a small man-made lake in western Washington but these don’t really look or act like mosquitoes. They aren’t eating me alive like always happens with mosquitoes so I’m assuming they are something else but I don’t know what. We moved here in October of last year and about two weeks ago these little flyers started invading our apt! This morning there were like 50 on our back screen looking like they are waiting to come inside and 20 inside trying to get out.. Our cats are having a blast but jeez what are these things?? Is there a way to deter them from our home??
