I’m so stressed about the baby shower. Nothing has been bought off our registry and we are struggling quite a lot 😭

We are first time parents and are severely struggling not only with the pregnancy but also paying for appointments and buying things for the baby. I’m 25 years old and have no idea how to even be a person half the time and I’ve been doing extremely poorly at existing it seems 😂 My baby shower is in two weeks and while I’m thankful for everything, only two things have been bought and I bought one of them myself 😭 I’m beyond stressed and have to move across the country at the end of the month. I haven’t been able to work and my partner is going into debt trying to make ends meet and pay for my appointments and actually getting the u haul truck for us to move. He’s working 12 hour shifts and still doing ubereats, shipt other odd jobs for neighbors. I might end up trying to find a part time (despite him protesting) remote job just to make some money because right now we have a bassinet and a car seat. I really don’t know what to do. We were financially okay before we fell pregnant but we’ve had so many things happen and go wrong and with me not working we are just drowning. I sold my car just so he could keep the house and I thought about applying for a credit card just to buy some of the essentials.

If you failed the 1 hour glucose testing how high was yours and did you end up passing the 3-hour?

My results came back and were 160. I have the 3 hour test in a week and a half and I don’t know whether I should try to eat lower carb/sugar now or if that will be more dangerous in the long run. I do feel dizzy pretty much every time I eat and it may sound dumb, but I didn’t realize that was what was causing it till I started paying attention. I obviously want to feel better, but I also don’t want to get a false negative on the test and not catch it early if I do have it. I’m worried about failing it again as I have a lot of food/texture issues on top of HG and feel like I’ll hardly be eating anything at all

Anatomy scan experience?

How did your anatomy scan go? She seemed to get everything she needed, and she pointed out the hands feet, the heart. Did you guys get told height and weight? I got told nothing and I'm kind of bummed since other people seemed to get theirs. I know they are there to get images and measurements and all that, but I was hoping to know how big he was. Is that something I should've asked for? Will my doctor know from the images or will I have to go somewhere else to get it done?

How often do people have to come back for anatomy scans?

I’ve heard SO MANY people have to come back for scans but I live out of state to where I get scans done. All of our scans have been done there since I will be moving there soon. We have to work around both me and my boyfriend’s pto and jobs so I can’t just take off more time if I have to get another scan done. My doctor also wants it done this week because I’m already nearly 22 weeks pregnant (we had to push this scan back so I could actually fly out here to do it) I’m so worried and stressed

I’m supposed to graduate with my bachelors on Saturday. I know I should’ve opened my gown up when I got it in March, but I have so much going on in my life right now. I’m fairly certain I have a Masters gown. It’s completely black and has the long sleeve things. I don’t even know who to contact or if they’ll even let me walk in the wrong gown. The packaging on the rental says Bachelors Earth-grad gown.
