What are some Things Women do that reek of Trying too Hard?

I'm curious about things that would turn you off of someone who you might otherwise be interested in if it weren't for this "try hard trait" (physical or mental)

Let's hear about the less obvious ones too

Judy D rant

I started watching her content several years ago bc I just like watching client makeup applications (the good, bad and the ugly ).

Anyway, so when did she become so annoying and boring? I don't think her hair portion adds anything, it's 75% just watching her raise her eyebrows while her head's in a shampoo bowl and ppl mumbling small talk in different languages. Maybe i'm the problem? I found her old snarky content at least an easier watch.

Even back then she would occasionally do serious makeup content but she would have a professional at a makeup counter do it and explain their techniques/ what they're using etc. Now it's her raising her eyebrows looking in the mirror with a piano score playing in the background while townsfolk babble on about nothing

Best Strip Lashes for slight hooding

Hi I'm looking for recommendations for the best strip lashes for slightly hooded almond eyes (not monolid) lashes that will blend in with my very fine straight lashes.

I find that any lashes longer than 10mm in length overpower my lids and look so fake and dated. I'm mostly looking for a little fullness and curl, as my natural lashes are pretty long already.

Most strip lashes tend to start at 8-10mm but go up to 12-14 at the ends which is way too long for me and they end up hiding my entire lid.

And yes I know clusters look better and are far better suited for what I'm looking for aesthetically but I can't stand how the cluster glue makes my natural lashes feel and it's so hard to get out and I find it to be very damaging to my lashes.
