How do you handle a meeting after sending your resignation letter?

I sent my resignation and boss called in for a meeting tomorrow.

Any advice what to say during this meeting? This is my first time resigning since it's my first job and kinakabahan ako baka kung ano masabi ko during this meeting tomorrow.

I've been here for more than a year and they may gaslight me (which happens everytime since I have a toxic manager) :((

I will start my next job while rendering

Hi, as the title says, I already have a starting date on the new company, and I just recently resigned sa current company.

I already informed during my interview na I'm currently employed but willing to use my leaves para mashorten yung rendering.

So yeah I was granted with 2 weeks leave but merong sobra don na 1 day na hindi ko mafile which is yung last day. Is it okay na magabsent sa last day of rendering? since I'm ready naman na for the turn over and I already prepared the hand outs for the replacement they will hire.

Also hindi naman ba magooverlap sa government contributions yun? Or may issue ba mangyayari?

Awol?

Context: I recently received a job offer from another company that offers better pay, benefits, and management, and it’s honestly an opportunity I’ve really been wanting because I’ve been hoping to leave my current toxic work environment for a while now.

The new company needs me to start by the end of May, specifically on the last working day of the month, and I agreed because I genuinely want the role. I understand that I may also have some fault in the situation because I assumed my leave would be approved, especially since I’ve observed that long leaves are usually granted in our company.

Earlier today, after receiving the job offer, I tried filing for leave but it was not approved. Instead, I was offered an arrangement where I could take one week of leave and another week as work-from-home. However, I was still informed that I would need to physically report to the office on the last working day of May and possibly again on my last working day in June.

Unfortunately, that setup is not feasible anymore because it conflicts with my start date at the new company. Because of this, I’m considering being absent on those specific days instead, while still continuing the agreed work-from-home arrangement during the first week of June. So basically, awol for specific dates.

I also plan to submit my resignation notice tomorrow after I receive documented approval of the one-week leave and one-week work-from-home arrangement. My concern is whether the company can still revoke the approved work-from-home setup after I submit my resignation.

I would also like to know if this situation could affect my last pay and the documents I’m supposed to receive from the company. It's not a bpo company, but can they terminate me for the 2 days I plan to awol? Or will they hold my requirements like coe and 2316?

Help, my leave was declined

Hi, so I applied for a job and already got a job offer but they are asking me to start on end working day of May so we can have proper turnover.

I filed my leave in my current company before I will send my resignation. But unfortunately since the leave is 2 weeks, they didn't accept my leave request and I plan to give my resignation tomorrow :(

They proposed that I wfh on the 1st week then use my remaining paid leave on the second week, but I don't know what to do for the end working day of May.

Kapag absent? awol na ba yon? I can't file for immediate resignation dahil idedeny rin niya.

Kapag awol makukuha pa yung necessary requirements need sa company niyo? Like the bir forms ganon? and coe?

Can someone help me since first time ko to :( and I really want the job kasi, ayaw ko na rito :(

To summarize: Nagleave ako before magsend resignation and nadecline yung pag file ko ng leave pero need na magstart don sa new company sa June. Nabigyan din ako job offer since I said I can start na by June and shorten my rendering days.

Napapansin ba ng employer pag sunod sunod leave?

Hi, ask lang since I'm currently employed but actively looking and attending interviews. So interviews started last month, di naman siya literal sunod sunod but like randomly naghahalf day ako, with valid reason na lusot naman ganon. Parang 1 emergency leave then 3 half day leaves.

Then bukas I plan to take a leave ulit then sick leave naman, kasi hapon na nagsend ng schedule yung inaapplyan ko. Halata ba yon sobra, baka kasi pag initan ako lalo eh.

Filing leave before resignation?

Hi, is it okay to file a leave before sending your resignation to lessen your rendering period?

I'm 100% my leave request will be rejected if I filed for 2 weeks leave. If they didn't accept my leave request, kailangan ko ata mag absent sa work if ever since my new employer needs me to work on 1st week ng June :(

Hi, for context I have experience in accounts payable, admin position, and hr payroll experience all in my first job.

I'm currently applying for a job but still employed. In my current company, we are working from 9 am to 6 pm.

I've received 2 congratulation emails from the jobs I was interviewed last month and this week.

Company A - Offers admin work. Salary is 20k-24k, still yet to receive the final job offer. Compressed hours from monday to friday, 8 am to 6 pm (9 hours). Possible OT and Saturday work if needed.

Travel time from home is 40 mins.

Benefits: Hmo upon regularization and a generous christmas bonus.

(The hiring process is too long, it's been 2 weeks already)

Company B - Accounts Payable (Accounting). Salary is 25k, still yet to receive the final job offer.

Working hours is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm (8 hours), no work in saturdays but possible OT if needed.

Travel time from home is the same as company A.

Benefits: HMO upon regularization and generous christmas bonus as well.

I'm trying to consider based on the salary and time of work. I don't know how to decide since here, in my first job, I didn't have any job offer options.

Actually I have no formal job offer yet but they already sent their congratulatory message to me. For context, I'm still working on my first job which do broad stuff since I support all departments (but mainly on admin).

1st job offer: this job is related to admin stuff but still as an associate. I was informed that the salary may be minimum from 21k. I still don't know how much they will offer. The benefits are hmo upon regularization, annual increase, and bonus on christmas. The starting time for this is from 8 am to 6 pm, no saturdays but possible ot.

2nd job offer: this job is related to accounting stuff but labeled as staff. The budget for the salary is 20k to 25k but it still depends on what the formal job offer may be. The benefits are hmo upon regularization and christmas bonus as well. The starting time for this is from 9 am to 6 pm, no saturdays as well but possible ot.

Both offers have benefits of 10 sick and 10 vacation leaves upon regularization.

I'm considering to choose based on salary but I'm not sure :( this is my second job if ever so it's my first time experiencing it.

Hi, I'm currently in my first job and was applying for a month now, I finally passed the final interview and is now on the phase of hiring process but still haven't got the job offer since we will still need to negotiate the salary.

Now in my current company, some of them like parang nagpaparinig na please wag daw ako umalis or I hope you stay with us for a long time, but when I asked for an increase I was denied with a long explanation why.

For context, my basic salary is just 16k and no other benefits (like hmo). While don sa hiring, I believe 20k+ yung basic salary with benefits sila like upon regularization, and I think mas focus sa kung ano talagang work na gagawin mo.

So ayun, maybe it's just because it's my first work, kaya ko siguro nafefeel na parang ayaw ko umalis but the management is toxic for me, especially being micromanaged from the start.

I just want to know if someone had the same experience or is currently experiencing it din and what did you do po?
