Front Store vs Pharmacy

Currently I work in the front store. I recently received my pharmacy technician license and have moved into the Ops Manager RX role. I'm going to start my training this week and after that at the suggestion from our pharmacy DL I'm going to get my immunization certification. My question is for people who have transferred front store to pharmacy. Was the switch worth it? I'm strongly considering doing that once I have everything I need done.

Searching for my grandfather, Ronald Lee Ward. This page was recommended to me. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’m trying to help my mother locate and reconnect with her father, whom she hasn't seen since she was young (and I've never had the chance to meet). We believe he is still alive, and we'd love to connect with him before it's too late.

Here are the details I have:

•Name: Ronald Lee Ward

•Approximate Age/DOB: Born October 22nd (sometime in the 1940s)

•Location: Columbus, Indiana or the surrounding area

•Past Connections: He was with my grandmother, Betty Ann, in the 1960s.

Relatives:

•Sons: Chris Ward and John Ward

•Sister: Wanda

Leads so far:

•I reached out to a Chris Ward in Columbus on Facebook but haven't received a response yet. If you are Chris Ward and your father is Ronald, please check your inbox/message requests!

•I have tried emailing a possible address for Ronald with no luck so far.

•Search records show no obituaries or death certificates matching his name.

If anyone recognizes these names, knows Ronald or his family, or has any information that could help us connect, please send me a private message. Any help is deeply appreciated!

Applying to new Req

I recently received my Pharmacy Technician license as a front store Ops Manager. My SM created a req for the Ops Manager RX position but it has been so long since I've applied to a new req for a new position. How do I get to it?

Passed up for Store Manager in Training (again) because of blatant nepotism, an HR cover-up, and broken promises. I'm just so tired.

I just need to get this off my chest because I am feeling completely invisible, discouraged, and honestly, pretty worthless right now. I’ve been passed up twice now for the Store Manager in Training (SMIT) role, and the reasons are making me realize just how broken corporate culture is.

The First Time:

I was passed over for a coworker who was actively sleeping with another SMIT. To make it worse, that guy was the store manager’s absolute best friend and neighbor. They were literally hooking up inside the store (and later at his own store when he got one). Both were cheating on their actual partners, and there was a massive 16 year age gap.

I did what you’re "supposed" to do. I called ethics multiple times. Nothing happened. It was completely brushed under the rug because the Store Manager wanted to protect his best friend and this girl. Instead of doing the right thing, I was threatened with termination if I ever brought it up to him again.

After that, my mental health and my performance took a massive hit. It felt like anything I did was completely overshadowed. She could do absolutely no wrong and get praised for the bare minimum, while I was left doing the heavy lifting. I felt like shit every single day.

The Second Time (Now):

Lately, my Store Manager practically begged me to go out and get my Pharmacy Technician license to help out the store. I stepped up. I spent my own personal time and my own money to get certified and licensed.

Now that I actually have it? He refuses to let me start training. Every time I ask about it, I get a dismissive "I'll get to it." Meanwhile, he went completely behind my back to give a different position—one that absolutely should have been offered to me given my track record and new credentials—to someone else.

Being passed up a second time is bringing all those old, awful feelings right back to the surface. I’ve given years to this place, climbed the ranks, gotten the extra certifications they asked for, and I'm still treated like I'm not enough.

How do you keep showing up to a place that makes you feel this discouraged? I feel like I'm screaming into a void while people who play politics and cheat the system get handed everything on a silver platter.
