35 bucks later and the controller finally works!
14 for a battery, 7 for shipping and 14 for a new cable because of the stupid handshake system. I toke the controller apart and cleaned it. What do y’all think?

I got a sixaxis controller for free recently and I opened it up to clean it and diagnose why it wasn’t working (battery was dead dead) the replacement battery is arriving today and I want to make sure I have the controller put back together because I won’t be opening it back up for a while, my controllers model is CECHZC1U, I tryed looking at teardowns and stuff but it’s hard to find guides for sixaxis compared to DualShock 3s, any help would be appreciated thanks!
I’ve been working on a ps3 controller (sixaxis) I got for free that doesn’t work, the battery was dead dead, so I’ve got a replacement from iFixit ordered. When I was trying to remove the old battery it was really stuck to the connector on the mobo, I eventually was able to remove it but I found that the reset button on the mobo was loose, it fell off later when I wasn’t looking, but the button took the contact pads with it, making it so I can’t just resolder it to the board. Is the button necessary for the controller to function? If I ever need to reset the controller how do I do it without the button? I also cleaned the controller while I was at it
Toke me forever to get one, it wasn’t a DualShock like I wanted but it will work nonetheless, it doesn’t work but it’s in good condition except for some grime that needs to be cleaned off. 2 of the screws where stuck in the body of the controller due to rust or something else. I only broke 1 standoff which I can superglue back later, I’m almost positive it’s the battery that’s the issue as it’s an original Sony one. I can get a new battery from iFixit for 21 dollars including shipping. What do y’all think?
I know the plant but I’ll give hints over time if yall struggle!
I wanted to get a feeder but my research basically told me it would be a high maintenance sort of thing that would most likely attract ants bees and wasps, so I tried buying a flower instead. I’m almost positive it’s not a renewing flower. I couldn’t find a cigar plant or honeysuckle, did I make a good choice? Are there any flowers that humming birds like that are bulbs? Or bloom when hummingbirds birds are most common?
Hi, recently I've been seeing 1-2 humming birds in my backyard rarely, I would like to get a feeder for them, I would plant flowers but my allergies would go nuts, plus I've had a history of squirrels eating anything and everything I plant. any advice would be appreciated as I want to see these cuties more often.
What I know about humming birds (but I could be wrong, if I am, please respectfully say so):
Avoid plastic feeders as they can leach chemicals into the fluid.
Don't use colored sugar water, only clear as the dyes can be harmful.
They like the color red but its not necessary.
Use a ant pool to prevent ants from bothering the birds.
Have a rain cap so the birds can drink without getting wet if its raining so they aren't just sitting in the rain.
Clean the feeder often to avoid getting the birds sick.
Also I'm curious, can the sugar water get algae from the sun? it gets sunny where I live and I just want to know ahead of time.
I did a thermal repaste on my ps3 and it did too good of a job removing heat from the system now, my system runs cold while my wall feels like lava, my pas5 never makes my wall feel like lava. Any ideas that won’t drastically change the look would be nice
