Whats your honest experience with an ai interviewer been like?

Seeing more companies drop an ai interviewer into the early rounds now, no human you just answer questions on cam or in chat and it scores you. Ive done a couple and honestly its a mixed bag, one felt fair and clear about what it was assessing another felt like talking into void with no idea how i was doing. Curious what was your experience. Do you think an ai interviewer can actually judge a candidate fairly and does knowing its ai change how yiu answer??

Bharat bandh VBA

I saw the protest ongoing in virar and these guys stopped the roads and autos, forced people to get down and walk. Its a simple thing, you can protest for a good cause but why force someone who is a daily wage earner like the rickshawala to stop their autos??? Are you going to pay them for the day?! And then its always the common man who has to face consequences, they have to walk and go as whatsoever happens they have to report to their offices, have some empathy people. Protest is organised and carried out by people who do not face the challenges common people do living here

Is AI recruiting actually saving anyone time, or just moving the work around?

Been seeing Al recruiting pushed everywhere this year- Al screening, Al interviews, resume parsing, fraud detection, the whole stack. Some of it clearly helps with high-volume roles where you're drowning in applications. But I keep wondering whether it's genuinely cutting recruiter workload or just shifting it from "read 300 resumes" to "double-check what the Al flagged on 300 resumes."
The part I'm still unsure about is trust- how do you know the scoring is consistent and unbiased, especially with compliance stuff in the US and EU? A tool that'
's fast but that you can't defend to a hiring
manager or a candidate doesn't feel like a win.
Where's Al recruiting actually earning its place in your process right now, and where is it still more hype than help?

Decoding Gen Zs

I have mostly decoded the types of Genzs in India todays time, so enjoy and see if you find yourself falling in any one of these categories

A: The Play safe, stay loyal Genzs: these people fall in the most sane category of GZs,they make the most right decisions practically and dont work with a woke mindset. Loyal to their religion, relationships, close friend circle, are not fake just for the sake of popularity and likeabilty, they keep it low and are the best ones to surround yourself with

B: The Woke Narcissistic Genz: these are one of the most annoying types of genz, but not first impression wise. You will love being friends with them at first as they are kind of popular but once you get to know them, you question your own decision of liking them in first place. They are against all the things that are safe and cliche, they will rebel against anything and everything just to prove they are woke and cool. Eg: hating the ruling party, not believing in religion and god etc. They also make friends with only people they think will make them look cool and woke, again- minority, lgbtq etc

C: The People pleasers Genz: People pleasers are a constant in any gen and it definitely can be found in GZs. These people will do anything and everything just to make sure that they are good on everyones side. They dont have opinions much but even if they do they will throw it in a backburner if they see its hurting someone. They constantly act close and happy with everyone and surprisingly this is one of the most liked category by everyone on the outer surface- even if people hate these kind of GZs, they will never say it to their face

D: The tryin be cool Korean western Genz: For this category- its all about looking cool by showing you are into K drama, US pop etc. They feel they are above everyone and too cool for others, their stories are full of food pictures, aesthetic photos with US slow pop songs and korean ones. They keep going for movies, cafes and keep up with only cool stuff- their frnd circle might be big but they huddle and vibe up only with people like them, not an annoying type though but definitely have a type b hidden side to them

E: The cringe attention seeking Genz: Something is seriously wrong with this type, all they are trying to do is try very veryy gard at being an influencer but failing at it miserably. All they want is attention and will do anything and everything for it- creating scenes, drama, unnecessary problems. They dont care much about the other stuff- they are people pleasers but also very detached. They might fuck up their own situations and life but will still keep doing things just to get attention.
Not bad people but a big pick me girls type

F: The silent or confused Genz: This one simply does not know yet what category they might go to. They keep showing traits from all of the other categories and sometimes they are just blank, like a slot if to be given an example. They dont like getting involved with a lot of things like category A, but they are far more detached than others. Again, another one of the good categories to know and be with.

G: The living my best life by lonely Genz: The people in this category are famous..very very famous, they will seem like they have everything sorted in their life- living a rich life, partying, vacationing, being the life of any party they enter. They are the knows it all- they know every gossip and their life simply looks sorted but there’s a catch- they are the most loneliest ones inside- no real meaningful connections, the life the live? Fabricated just to prove people how happy and successful they are, constantly in competition with others secretly just to look better. Again, not bad to have type but definitely to watch out for you know them.

Some can be a combination from the above but definitely fall into one of the categories

Feel free to add more that you come across

Headcounf in SaaS companies

Why are today’s SaaS founders so obsessed with keeping the headcount so low?
All I hear from them is we are AI first and we don’t want to hire a lot of people, 1 person can do 5 persons job.
I get it but it just feels so odd- what about a small collaborative team? Keeps ideas and opinions coming, feels competitive yet energising, keeps the human element alive.
Please bring back pre ai team era, let ai support you but not replace a team of 10 to 1
