I love the small things this game does.

So I decided to make a new high elf. I was doing the tutorial area like normal and I reached the end. I always accepted someone came and saved you after the witch king stabbed you. But this time I was messing with the camera and I noticed there is a friendly NPC (didn't catch their name in time) neer by explaining how you were saved so fast. They didn't need to do that but small things like that make this game stick out.

Very important question.

So I have been playing on unsteady for a while now and I feel I have reached a state where I can play on Grim now. Recently I saw advice that I feel if it is true could make or break my run. So please, is it true that on grim I can ignore the root cellar for spring and everything will be fine? I have been doing unsteady under the impression I still need to give to the root cellar so if this advice is true I think I can do very well. Thank you.

What advice would you give a new player?

For me I would recommend upgrading the pickaxe quickly. The mines are super important to your income and to getting the materials you need for upgrades, buildings, and crafting. Also the recently added ability to see unstable walls is great for avoiding, or causing the mine to collapse.

Lupus born intelligence?

So I'm trying to build a Bone Gnawer Lupus born. The idea is that his mother was killed and his siblings starved with him surviving off bugs till a couple humans found him and adopted him. They were not abusive but they were not great owners so he had to frequently sneak out and hunt in the city, thankfully the neighborhood was hot trash so no one really cared a wolf was out eating rodents and such. The thing is I want him to be a bit smarter than most as he was able to survive as long as he did by being smarter, not stronger. What's a realistic intelligence score for a Lupus born that had to be smarter to survive?

This is messed up.

There comes a time when you need to look the customer in the eye and tell then, "Your refund is denied. Get out." Case and point.

Why Kill the Goblin?

So, for the Rogue hunting log, you need to kill one goblin fisher. Thing is, I can help but wonder why? I mean, I get it might be just "It is there to get some EXP" but it feels off that the Rogue guild, who present themselves as policing pirates in secret, want me to kill a non-hostile fisher. Did the goblins do something that broke the code or something?

I'm so done with Squishys...

Imagine after telling someone you do not have any squishys they immediately follow it up with "How do you know?". Oh I dono, maybe because I am asked about it all the time? I can not wait for this trend to end.

What mayor do you prefer?

Would you rather have Grimshire's Theo or Stardew Valley's Lewis. I am only at Summer right now but with my current impressions I would rather have Theo. Sure he's lazy but it feels like he cares at least and I have yet to see any proof he's stealing funds to make a solid gold statue.

New game, help me out?

So I was not doing well on my old game and decided to start a new one. Following general advice I'm focusing more on preparing to automate as much as I can and get as many materials as I can gather and process. I got my pickaxe being upgraded so I'm working on gathering up lumber and clearing my field. A few things I would like to ask. How many drying racks, smokers, and smelters are acceptable? Should I work on getting critter houses ASAP or can they wait a bit? Last what tools should be my highest priority in upgrading?

Chronicles and world?

So I get the splats have difference between the two universe's but is there a more significant difference between the two aside from how the splats operate?

End of spring help

So I would like to know what I should do now that summer is coming up. I feel a bit lost now, as I was working on getting some decent fish traps up and getting critters going for meat. The critters are coming along pretty slowly, but I am making progress. However, I have hit a pretty big snag with the red tide. I wasn't aware of it and had placed a few fish traps in the red tide area, and I can not figure out how or if I can remove them to move them elsewhere. Any other tips would be good, as while I have been hitting all the deadlines, I never get more than the minimum required to meet them. I am playing on the normal difficulty at the moment.

Playing the technocracy

I was wondering for anyone who has played as the technocracy in mage the ascension, what's it like? I know playing as the traditionalists they are the enemy and the ones who control the world so I would love to know what it's like when you play them.
