Woke up this am & watched the condensed game.

Was very surprised to see that nobody struck out & every starter had an RBI in this classic 9 on 9 against the desert rattlers.

Jokingly I said to myself “they must have sat Duran”

….checked the box & they actually did.

Might be something they wanna look into doing more often then

I’m a truck driver. I deal specifically with other truck drivers, lumber yard workers, or Mexicans with questionable citizenship status.

My wife is also dyslexic.

This is by far the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

I ordered this parasite cleanse from a reputable company & didn’t really expect any issues.

The first red flag was that my package was in the “shipping label created” stage for about two weeks.

Then out of nowhere I got a “your package is out for delivery” notification…at 7pm. 2nd red flag.

I went to check the details, & it said that it was coming via Cirro regional. I was a courier for FedEx for 5 years & DHL for 2. I’d never heard of Cirro in my life.

Gave it a quick goog, and the first thing that came up was basically “expect your package to be mangled and mismanaged”

Two days after it was “out for delivery”, my 85 year old neighbor walks up to my house as I’m outside grilling with a destroyed box in a plastic bag that’s essentially drenched in black sludge (the contents of the cleanse I guess). Mind you, we live on a private road, but there are very clear signs with arrows pointing to which house number is in which direction.

As a former delivery driver, I can’t fathom:
A) how the hell a package gets destroyed that badly.
B) how the hell can you, in good faith, walk up to somebody’s house & just leave it there like the job is done?

Like…what even is this company, & who the hell are they employing? The company gave me a full refund, but now I have to power wash my deck from the contents leaking everywhere. Meanwhile this driver is getting off Scot-free because this company seemingly doesn’t even exist.

Just a dumbass rant.

TLDR: if a company is shipping with Cirro, cancel the order. If it’s between paying an extra charge for UPS or free shipping with Cirro, that shipping charge is nothing compared to not getting your shit.

I feel like yesterday was a new low

I (like Jared) now find myself listening much more than watching.

Decided I would go fishing with an earbud in just to keep up with the game.

I made it through the blowup inning in the middle of the game before I decided to choose absolute silence while staring into a lake like a man whose wife just left him and took the kids

This team sucks and they’re so boring doing it

I love Jared & everything he brings to the pod…

But the Dallas, Jay Hay, Tyler combo was an absolute delight to listen to. So fucking clean & tight, & Tyler is really a great compliment to Jay Hay.
