what ATS score are you actually aiming for before hitting submit?

genuine question because the advice online is all over the place. some posts say 80+, some say 90+, some say it doesn't matter because every company's ATS is different. After my last vent about easy apply being a black hole i finally caved and tried a free ATS scorer. mine is sitting at 78 for the role I'm applying to tonight. is that fine? should i grind it higher?

going from 60 to 78 took 30 mins. getting to 90 feels like hours of keyword stuffing that might make the resume sound robotic.

do you guys aim for a specific number or just iterate till the missing keywords list looks "small enough"?

asking before i hit submit because the previous version got me literally nothing.

half my way to airlearn chess course actually fun and small review

total beginner. before this i knew how the horse moves and that was it. now im halfway through the course so figured id share what its like. stuff i like: each piece gets its own mini section. i didnt realise pawns had so much going on until i was 4 lessons deep just on them.

the lessons are short. i finish one while my chai heats up. the visuals look nice, not that 2014 edu app vibe.

stuff thats annoying: some difficulty jumps. coasting one minute, stuck on a puzzle for 10 the next. wish there were more practice games inside the app.

am i good at chess now? lol no but i checkmated bot twice last weekend which is a first. small wins. worth it if youre starting from zero like me.

I’m convinced half of shaadi.com exists just so parents can say “we tried”

i was reading this in the masters union newsletter that After a point it stops feeling like a dating/marriage app and starts feeling like compliance work. Profiles clearly run by parents. People replying once every 9 days. Families asking salary before they ask personality. Random horoscope rejections. “Send biodata.” And then suddenly everyone ghosts. Starting to feel like the real purpose is just giving families social proof that they’re “actively looking” so relatives stop asking questions.

Maybe I’m wrong though. Curious how many people here actually met someone genuine through it.

Berlin S2 just dropped. How many of you are watching tonight?

I’m 2 episodes in already and honestly this season feels very different from S1. The pacing is faster, the tension is better, and somehow even the English dub feels more polished this time around. Usually I always go with subtitles for shows like this.

How many of you are starting tonight?
