Cases? Screen protectors? Are they necessary?

I’m considering using my X4 as is - not installing the screen protector it comes with and not using a case on it. If you’ve been using it this way, how has your experience been so far? Any scratches on the screen from everyday use? Dents on the body?

I plan to just carry it with me as is, throw it in my bag amongst my other things, put it on any surfaces as is, be it face-down or face-up - no case no screen protector. Is this a bad idea?

I accidentally dipped the tip (the part that magnets to the laptop) in milk - only for a second! My mug was right beside my laptop and it just happened. I dried it immediately with a tissue paper and now it’s currently air-drying.

Has this happened to anyone else and when is it safe to try it out on my MacBook? I know I can use a USB-C instead to charge it but I don’t want to stop using this MagSafe if unnecessary. Any tips will be appreciated!

I’ve been to many dark places. There were days when I felt and thought, “No way am I gonna get past this” or “I guess this is it for me,” but, by some miracle, I did get past it and, more than that, there was actually more waiting for me in my future (now my present). Way more than I could have imagined.

Looking out into the skyline of Metro Manila, I try to imagine how many people today are feeling what I used to feel. Empty, hopeless, alone. I don’t know what compelled me to write this to a bunch of strangers on this subreddit, but I guess I’m hoping that someone who is possibly feeling like it’s the end of the world will read this and see some ray of light and hope in these words I’m typing. Hope is very important, and I was lucky enough to have been surrounded by people who convinced me to be hopeful during a time of hopelessness in my life. So here I am, hoping to be that person for you. There is more life waiting for you and more people to meet and more places to go. Laban!!!
