I am gearing up to grab a Kindle during the upcoming 10th Anniversary Prime Day Sale (July 4 - July 6). I’m stuck between the Amazon Kindle 11th Gen and the Paperwhite. For those who track Amazon sales, how low do Kindle prices typically drop on Prime Day? Also, if you’ve used both, which one do you recommend for casual nighttime reading?

I’m planning to buy my very first Kindle device (specifically leaning toward the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition). I noticed the upcoming Amazon Prime Day sale in India is scheduled for July 4th to July 6th.

Do Kindles usually get heavy discounts during this particular event, or are the deals mostly on smartphones/electronics? Should I buy it now or wait out the next few days?
