Is Colonel Ward a veteran of the Clone Wars or other battles through history?
So Sigourney Weaver is 76, if was assume that Colonel Ward is about 70-75, and TM&G takes place in 12 ABY, that means Ward was at least 39-44 when the Republic fell, that's very easily old enough to have served in the Republic army during the Clone Wars, certainly she would have been a combat pilot before the clone wars as many planets would have had militaries or militias for defense, (and yes the bulk of the republic army was clones but not completely). She's clearly a skilled pilot so likely flew for the republic, the rebellion and the new republic. I wonder if she was present at the destruction of either of the Death Stars.
Anyway Sigourney Weaver is awesome and I thought it was just something cool to think about.
