Every time I try to load filament with the 0.4 nosel I get a weird clicking sound and nothing goes through (video attached) but when I try with the 0.6 it goes through completely fine originally I thought it was an issue with the filament feeder assembly so I bought a new one and fully replaced it but the issue was still the same does anyone thing they have any ideas of what can help
Just looking for some feed back and opinions. I've been a loyal FF owner. Ive had the AD5X for right at a year, and a pair of AD5Ms for about 2 years. They've been great. Zero issues or problems. Just been reliable work horses. I'm famliar with the slicer and settings.
My only desires right now are quicker multicolor prining with the multiple heads, and a larger print bed.
Any reasons NOT to buy the Creater 5 Pro? It just makes sense with how I've enjoyed my current printers.
Is there something else I might want to look at and try, or should I stick with the brand thats worked out well for me?
I've been debating on my next printer between u1 and Creator 5 Pro. at some point I'll buy both, but currently wallet stretches only to 1 of the two.
been watchin a lot of vids on it and reviews and reading all posts here.
I'd appreciate if anyone clearing these up for me.
has there been any updates on firmware? what are the fixes they've pushed?
i know regarding the purge infront of the fan that was pushed towards the back of the printer. (also my thought was just like PC cases which use mesh filter, people can use those infront of the fan - just a thought)
the reason im leaning towards c5pro is the hardened steel nozzle and chamber heater for harder filaments. (abs/asa/mixed/abrasive material cf n all)
im about to hit the purchase. stuck between u1 vs c5pro.
pricewise they're the exact same in my region.
if anyone experienced these please share your thoughts.
This is driving me batty and I am really not sure whats going on.
So I have a Creator 5 Pro
Im trying to print with some wood PLA
It needs to print around 210 for first layer and 205 for the remaining layers or it gets stringy (ive verified this on my other creality printers)
So, in The FlashForge slicer (latest version, latest firmware on printer) I created a wood pla profile, set the min temp to 190 and max to 210, loaded the filament in the printer with a pla profile. I also set the aux cooling fan to 50% as 70 is causing it to cool way too fast
Slice it up in the slicer, and send it to the printer. Printer (after its painfully long startup) jumps to 220 and 70% on the aux fan.
I can, of course bump it down on the screen since Im using a single filament, but if im using multiple filaments thats a crapload of babysitting.
I, for grins, exported the gcode to look at it, and it has the correct temps, but I cant see what its sending to the printer when i click print.
What, probably painfully obvious, thing am I missing?
Edit: on the preview where it has the nice synopsis it shows the 210 then 205 bits as well.
It looks like the inside of my extruder has been coated in green filament and I have a current print job going on, is there any way I can get it out without stopping the job?
Hello, i just bought my C5P, is there anyway to start quicer on multicolor? The printer always Heat up, extrude, cool down and jsut after that pick the next tool. is there a way to skip the cooldown process and make the machine just pick the next?
I finally just got my Creator 5 pro Street having to return the first one immediately because it was damaged On Arrival
And I'm just testing a small plate handle print
Is it supposed to shake this much on the rubber feet?
It's on a completely solid desk with no give, yet the printer rubber feet are rocking so much.....
Just asking if this is normal?
I need some help with my Flashforge Adventurer 5M.
I suspect that one of the bearings on the Z lead screw is starting to wear out, and I’d like to replace it. Does anyone know the exact bearing code/model used by the Adventurer 5M?
Also, does anyone know how to properly remove this bearing? I’m not sure how it is mounted or what the correct procedure is.
Any information, photos, or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
So I added the creator 5 to my ad5x and My 2 5 m Pros and not only is the creator five the slowest of them all out of the box so you can turn it to ultra speed, but it’s really slow out of the box but I also don’t trust it to finish a print without checking on it like I feel if I start a print, I better come down and make sure that it’s good because there’s a higher chance of failure than my ad5x or even 5m pro
I don’t know if I don’t have the settings dialed in yet, but the 85X is the fastest of the three of them the creator five has been kind of a disappointment. I’m gonna be honest maybe I’m not using it to its full potential but I’m really not impressed.
6 years ago, I started with an Ender 3, now here we are. Did I over do it? Any ideas for improvements or changes? I don’t know what to do with the space above the dry boxes ( above the CR5. It’s a long piece of plywood that I installed to be able to hang stuff as the wall behind it is concrete and covered in insulation.
For context I print in a very cold room and the plastic was cooling way too soon which caused warping
Obviously the filament is rock hard… I was thinking of doing a calibration to heat up the nozzle and try to get it off… but I’m not sure that will work? Anyone face a similar issue?
I made a lot of mistakes that I learned from, software and hardware wise. The printer and the way it’s built makes it mistake friendly.
I have fat fingers and accidentally crushed the ribbon cable for the LCD screen. I printed parts separately when I could have printed them at the same time. Orientation of the print matters. Supports are friends. And a ton more than I thought I’d learn from a “simple” enclosure kit.
I honestly can’t wait for what’s next for myself.
AD5X
Usually at .08 with outer/inner wall speed set to 75/150. Works for a majority of my prints. A few are giving me problems. Really want to get some figures printed out but this keeps happening. Filament is PLA usually from Amazon/Jayo/other generic.
Serious question…
Has anyone tried using heated chamber to dry their filaments?(c5p)
Hi,
I’ve updated firmware. Re run calibrations. Super clean build plate and still having some issues with my first layer.
Sometimes it’s enough to hold the print. Sometimes the print just pops off. Or worse, on a long print, with the vibrations and such, the prime tower will topple over.
I haven’t had level bed issues since the old Creality days with glass beds! (I’m blue tape old!)
What’s the fix you guys are using?
I even tried a cold plate - extra hold! And prints came off.
I just bought mine and will be arriving soon, I'm a bit worried about failing prints as my previous printer was not a raising gantry type so failing prints were not that big of a deal.
I know there are some open source projects which take camera capture but did anyone manage to implement it well?
