Some of you may be familiar with my tool already. But for those who aren't, I created a site called FilamentHound.

Back some time ago, I started to get really frustrated with shopping for filament on Amazon. I'd search for certain filament types or colors or whatever, and Amazon would show me something entirely different. Or, when there was a period of time where Inland was selling filament very cheap on Amazon, searching for it would return zero results of what I was looking for, even though the filaments existed and were for sale! Very frustrating!

So I started building some tools to help me search the Amazon catalog a bit more efficiently and find filaments that were on sale. That work eventually turned into FilamentHound.com

Anyway, FilamentHound is a single pane of glass filament shopping assistant/portal that helps you find the filament you want, and sorts by price/KG by default. You can use it to find the exact filament you're looking for, or just find the best prices! A great aspect to the site is it bypasses any paid/prioritized search listings for Amazon in particular, and just shows you exactly what you're looking for. I currently ingest the Amazon filament catalog, as well as multiple filament manufacturer online stores.

I've implemented a number of filters, allowing you to search on multiple attributes, as well as just using a search box. I recently integrated information from manufacturers and filamentcolors.xyz to show measured hex and TD values where they're available.

I'm constantly working to make the site better for everyone. I also love feedback, so feel free to drop me a line with any suggestions.

I also have built BLHound (http://filamenthound.com/blhound/) for Bambu Lab filament stock tracking.

I'm currently adapting my backend engine to work for things like accessories, etc so look for this to come out in the next few weeks as I build around some of the problems I've ran into.

The site is fully free, will always be free, and has no tracking, required login, or promoted listings/paid prioritization.

And of course, for full transparency, the site fully operates off affiliate income which comes at no cost to you.
