I’ve updated firmware. Re run calibrations. Super clean build plate and still having some issues with my first layer.

Sometimes it’s enough to hold the print. Sometimes the print just pops off. Or worse, on a long print, with the vibrations and such, the prime tower will topple over.

I haven’t had level bed issues since the old Creality days with glass beds! (I’m blue tape old!)

What’s the fix you guys are using?

I even tried a cold plate - extra hold! And prints came off.

I suspect this is due to AnyCubic Slicer being a very old fork.

I imported a 3MF and the default it wants to use is black filament. I want to use red. I right click to change filament and slot 3, which is red. No change.

Now I know if I slice and hit print, I can make the change there.

But in Orca, the fix would be to go into Preferences, General tab and under Preset, uncheck “Remember printer configuration”

Why oh why can’t AnyCubic fix this?

Or allow us a means to use regular Orca to connect wirelessly to our machine and do this??

I guess this is more a rant than an ask 😆

But curious if anyone had a workaround?

I have seen a few posts on this and wanted to share my experience.

Due to inherited high Lp(a) we went into PSK9 therapy Pretty amazing reduction in LDL and a small dent in Lp(a)

BUT - no pun intended, the Repatha has lead me to PT for lower back issues. XRay showed my spine is perfect - the radiologist even called and said I have the back of a 21 year old!

The problem area for me has been the glutes, QL and those lower back muscles.

I seem to get some improvement just as I near the 2 week mark to take the next dose.

I've been on Praluent since the insurance plays the "Which med will i cover this year" game. I feel like that was less side effects but still some.

The doctors and PT have me doing loads of stretching, some magnesium supplementation and things like that. Yet as I sit here and type this, my glutes are sore and I get some annoying twitching.

I'm all for the good work this med is doing for me but curious what others have done? Maybe space out the dosing? Or switch again?

I'm 55 and in excellent health, so being affected with this sorta muscle issue is a bit draining!

I love using the AI to help when to make posts or publish content. But the AI isn’t aware of the date and time. I was trying to time a weekend release based on stats and the AI kept think it was Sunday (when it wasn’t)

Can someone give the AI a clock and calendar please

Would you be interested in purchasing a HEPA/activated charcoal filter if made available? I was inquiring with Makergadgets if they could offer one. They indicated if they had firm demand, they could.

I’ve asked support about an actual - effective - air filter for this machine. I’m hoping a third party makes an actual HEPA/activated filter for this machine.

I’ve checked out the printable version listed and while they are “ok-ish” - I’d really prefer something better. (Quality HEPA filter?)

Any one seen anything interesting?

Rant - I’m really disappointed with Anycubic dropping the ball like this. I’ve wanted a 350^3 printer that could do engineering materials for a long time. Something bigger than Bambu Lab offers. And yes, they made a bigger machine. But to not include an effective air filtration system that’s needed for these materials is just - stupid ! (I’m trying to select the kindest metaphors here!).

It just feels like just when Anycubic has stepped up their game to offer a great printer , they manage to fuck up.

And that’s not counting all the quality control issues that haunt them. People having to sand down manufacturing defects for the motion system to work? Long waits while some get theirs immediately.

If you’re listening, AnyCubic, please stop doing stupid things.

( This might be a noob question so be gentle - years of Simplify3D, Cura and adjusting to Orca still! )

I've managed to go into the Objects section in Process and manually correct these in the past.

However in some cases, despite my best efforts, especially parts that have text and such, I struggle to get this colors to change. I "have" these colors loaded in my AMS but since the 3MF is for a different 3D printer, the colors misalign once I synch to my filaments.

Am I missing a better way to altering the colors to reflect my machine?

I appreciate your help!

I got this in 2022 as a warranty upgrade/swap out from the original Purple mattress that was sagging badly

Over the past year, I’m having terrible lower back pain.

I thought it was my feet having recently been diagnosed with collapsed arches and adjusting to new shoe inserts.

But that doesn’t explain it all.

My doctor sent me to PT where I’m learning all sorts of Latin names for the muscles that are super tight.

Glute medius, psoas and so on.

The PT wonders if the mattress is too soft for me

It’s really bad when first getting out of bed

So … stretching on the exercise mat has become a regular routine.

Has any other Purple owners - particularly this model - experienced this problem?

It’s always been a very soft mattress and great for back sleeping (I’m largely a left side sleeper but start off on my back as I doze off to a TV show).

Honestly once they do a something like this, it will be a big win. All the competitors do it
