OMG I love this boss. He was the second hardest boss for me in my casual playthrough and I think it will probably stay that way. Also, he's the second boss in a row that decides to end the fight with his coolest move lmao.

I felt like a drone using lightning slash mantis blade the whole time so I switched it up for Phase 2 (Not advised). Frankly, this took an obscene amount of attempts but it was worth it. Thank you winterflare and MrCarnage your videos were very helpful <3

Ok, I had to compress it twice to upload it, but here it is!

Only the last 3-ish minutes because the whole fight is almost 15 minutes long. I probably won't upload the whole thing, I'm not sure I can and I also don't think anyone wants to watch 15 minutes of me dealing 200 damage at a time to him lol (Though I used cold antspur to speed up Phase 1). In typical Bayle fashion, he insists on using every single one of his most grandiose, ultra stalling moves right at the end.

Not hitless; I got hit right at the beginning of Phase 2 (Bubbletear) in a truly embarrassing fashion, like I just didn't space the downward fire correctly by probably one step. If I had one more braincell it would have been hitless.

Before I did this, Bayle was my favorite boss in the series, and I thought fighting him for so long would make me hate him. But, to be honest, I just love him even more now.

180 total attempts, including those lost instantly to unavoidable bouncing fire.

TYSM to everybody that helped me, it still took like a week and 30 hours of attempts though 😭 I don't think I can handle any more of the DLC with no-aux

I wasn't able to upload it for a little while, so I also managed to beat Rellana, which took about half as much time and was 3x as fun. The audio on that one didn't record so I have to dub it over or something we'll see how that goes

Footage is of my best attempt thus far. I pretty much have two aspects I need help understanding

1. On his slam attack, he sometimes stays still and other times he spins around and makes distance. I can punish the former circumstance but not the latter, is this controllable or predictable in any way?
2. The lightning. I just keep rolling into it... I know you can jump it but most of the time I get hit by it rolling backwards when I couldn't see it. Not sure if there's a pattern to where it spawns or if I just shouldn't roll backwards in that phase?

If you see anything else, other advice is welcome :)

FINALLY! I never want to see these two again omg. Radagon in particular feels so inconsistent in terms of difficulty, like he'll be a total pushover on some attempts and on others he'll teleport 4 times in a row and throw 3 holy spears. Elden Beast mostly just pisses me off with Elden Stars, which I had to use the crimsonwhorl tear for since I couldn't get the dodge consistently. Besides that I did him hitless. Wave of Gold is annoying too but he didn't use it here

Even on successful attempts and much luckier patterns where he doesn't teleport everywhere it takes 3.5 minutes+ to just get to Elden Beast which is a problem in its own right lol. Anything I'm missing?
