Most people overestimate price and underestimate access when buying watches

In its very initial stages, it seems that getting a deal is the primary aspect of buying a watch. Retail vs grey, discounting, attempting to "win" the deal. But after a few rounds of this, it becomes painfully obvious that the price is only half the equation. The bigger factor is access. The watch you actually want, how long you're willing to wait and how much uncertainty you are okay with. Many practitioners spend months or even years chasing retail pricing when they would have been far better off to just take the watch and be on their way. Ironically the longer you leave it to buy a lot of the so-called "price advantage" has actually been eroded almost entirely.

one shift that made outreach less random for us

for a while we were doing what most small teams do, pulling lead lists, sending outreach, tweaking messages, and hoping something sticks
it worked sometimes, but most of the time it felt inconsistent and hard to predict
what made a difference for us was focusing less on “who fits” and more on “who might actually need this right now”
things like hiring, recent changes, or growth signals gave a bit more context compared to just static data
it is still early, but it made outreach feel less like guesswork and more like timing, that is also what led me to explore more signal based approaches, tools like Satellyte.ai made that perspective clearer by focusing more on timing and activity instead of just lists
i have been experimenting with this approach recently, curious if others here are doing something similar or still relying mostly on lists

switching vpn servers sometimes feels like guessing more than anything

not sure if it is just me but switching vpn servers feels kind of random sometimes. one server works fine, then suddenly slows down or gets blocked, so you switch and hope the next one is better. i noticed this with browsec too where it was simple to switch between locations, and they have desktop apps now for Windows, Mac, and Linux as well, but finding a stable server still feels like trial and error.
there is no clear way to know which one will actually work until you try it, and even then it can change later. makes it feel less like a reliable system and more like trial and error most of the time.

What actually makes you recommend one VPN over another?

I have been looking into different VPNs lately and it feels like recommendations are all over the place depending on who you ask. Some people care about speed, others about privacy, others just want something simple that works without issues. After trying a few, it seems like real-world use matters more than specs or rankings because things like stability, ease of use, and how often you run into problems end up making the biggest difference. Curious what actually makes you recommend a VPN to someone else after using it for a while.

Are newer diesel trucks actually worth the higher maintenance costs?

I have been looking into getting a diesel truck for work, but one thing that keeps coming up is how expensive newer models can be to maintain compared to older ones.
I understand they are more efficient and have better features, but I keep hearing about issues with emissions systems and higher repair costs.
For those who have experience, do the benefits of newer diesel trucks actually justify the extra cost, or is it better to stick with older, simpler models?

I have been testing different ways to make videos accessible in other languages, and I am curious how people here feel about TTS for dubbing longer content now.
For short clips it seems decent, but for full videos I wonder if it can really keep natural tone, pacing, and emotion without sounding robotic.
Has anyone here used TTS for longer-form dubbing? What worked best in your experience?
Edit. I have been testing a few workflows too. One AI video translator I found useful for combining subtitles and dubbing was this: https://reccloud.com/ai-translate
