Officially at goal

After 41 months on Tirzepatide and 16 months on Naltrexone/Bupropion (meds in Contrave) I have officially reached goal. I've lost 141.1 lbs or 48.79% of my body weight. My goal was to get below 30% body fat which seems to put me around 149 lbs. My scale has me between 29-31% most days. Now I start the process of finding a medication routine for maintenance. I currently take 16 mg of compounded Tirzepatide, 12.5 mg Naltrexone, and 100 mg Bupropion. My PCP recommended trying to take Naltrexone/Bupropion every other day. In the first 2 weeks of trying that I went up about 4 lbs. Can't say for sure it was because of that but it made me nervous and I went back to daily 😬. I'll have to try again though.

The first collage is me at my heaviest, about 289 lbs wearing a size 24 and me now at 149 lbs wearing a size 8.

The second collage is me in 2006 trying on a top at H&M that I really wanted but I didn't buy. I was a broke college kid and how much could I really wear a sheer shirt. I bought the dang shirt on eBay recently in a size 6 (EU 36). Still don't know where I'll wear it 😆 but I have grown up money now.

Note added: I am not planning on going off medication all together especially Tirzepatide. I just need to find a dose where I stop losing.

My parents separated 9 years ago and divorced 3 years ago. Now my Mom wants to buy my Dad out of the marital home. Need help understanding tax implications.

My parents separated in 2017 after 30+ years and they got divorced about 3 years ago. My dad has been out of their marital home since 2017. My Dad let my Mom keep the home to not alienate my sister and I since he cheated. My Mom wants to buy him out now because she's worried if she were to pass first he could dissolve their trust and the money wrapped up in the house would go to his new wife and not my sister and I. My Mom is struggling to find anyone that can tell her the tax implications.

They purchased the home in 1991 for $209k and it's worth about $600k. My Dad has agreed to take $270k to leave the trust. A CPA told her my Dad would owe capital gains on $270k-$104k and my Mom would only owe later on the difference between a future sale price and $375k. Google makes it seem like that step up only happens if there is an actual sale.

Another complications is the home is in a revocable trust and their divorce decree just says that my Mom gets to stay in the home as long as she wants.

Please help or point me to who can help. She has spoken to a CPA, trust attorney and she tried to find a real estate attorney. She's in Virginia

Virginia Tech pinstriping

Hey everyone, random question. Back in the olden days (2005-2009) there was a person with a red Honda that had an orange pinstripe that had Hokie Bird foot prints built into the pinstripe and the word Virginia Tech in the pinstripe. Does anyone know where that would have been done and if it's still in business? I got a dark red minivan and I'd like to make all my VT dreams come true 😆

Just Complaining

I know the ratings don't really mean much, but in 2 years I've only gotten 5 star ratings. I'm just a person selling my clothes from weight loss. I post pictures of the front/back/all tags and original listing photo if I can find them. I then list measurements in the text. So why is this person complaining that this top is a crop top when I literally said it was a crop top and said it was 18" long. Yes it is tucked in in the original company photo, but it's not in my photos.

Also, I am squarely in a medium in most brands, sometimes a large. This top was large on me. I bought it on Poshmark, never wore it and then lost too much to wear it. There is no way it should be sized as XS 🙄. The back is smocked too so while cotton doesn't have stretch the back is smocked for stretch.

Ugh.
