I don't normally do these types of posts but anyway

This song has a great place at the end of Lonerism imo, and every time I listen to it I get literal chills. I never, and I mean NEVER cry to songs, but whenever I listen to Sun's Coming Up I get damn close to it. I've listened to a lot of music, and it might just be the saddest song I've ever heard (at least for me), especially because of the meaning behind it.

In my opinion Sun's Coming Up is the 2nd best closer to a tame Impala album after One More Hour. I don't listen to it much outside of the album, but when I listen to Lonerism and Sun's Coming Up plays it really hits me.

What are your thoughts on this song?

Does anyone know any other songs like Idioteque by Radiohead and Ethereal Connection by Tame Impala? It has that style to it that I often love in a techno song, but I can't find any other songs with a similar sound that isn't just regular trance. Does anyone know what sub-genre this is or some other songs like these ones?

For context the only songs I've heard from him before this listen were See You Again and GONE, GONE / THANK YOU.

Least fav songs: EARFQUAKE (hate the vocals and it's just mid) PUPPET I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE

I absolutely adore the production in this album, and I also love the alternative vibe. Overall I liked the album, but a few songs I didn't like at all. Besides that though I LOVE all the songs that I said were my favourite, and overall I'd rate IGOR 7.6/10.

Btw should I listen to Chromakopia?

WHY TF DOES LITERALLY NOBODY TALK ABT THIS SONG??? I've never even heard abt it b4 today but sinc I've been considering buying the Lonerism 10th anniversary vinyl (bc Lonerism is my fav album oat) I decided to listen to the 2 demos on Spotify and OMG SIDETRACKED SOUNDTRACK IS SO GOOD FOR A DEMO! It's not like one of the best songs or anything and it doesn't stand out among the rest of his work, but for a demo it's soooo good.
