FLORALS - Etsy Shop review BEWARE!

Unfortunately, my experience with CharmadilloBouquets was extremely disappointing and stressful. I placed two separate orders on March 7 and March 8 because the estimated delivery window at the time was the last week of March / first week of April. I needed the flowers by April 24th for my wedding, so while I understood the timeline was somewhat tight, the original estimate still showed delivery nearly a month before I needed them.

One package was marked as shipped on April 8 and the second on April 17 — yet somehow both packages had the exact same tracking number. Even more concerning, the UPS tracking never updated beyond “Label Created, UPS has not received the package.” That status remained unchanged the entire time, and the listed package weight was only 1 lb despite supposedly containing a bouquet, 2 corsages, a flower crown, and 3 boutonnieres across two orders. None of it added up.

As delays kept piling up, the estimated delivery moved from early April to the week of my wedding. I reached out multiple times asking for clarification and eventually requested a refund because, according to UPS, the package had still never actually been handed over. Instead of understanding my concerns, I was repeatedly told to “trust” that it would arrive — first by Monday, then Thursday, then even the day of my wedding at the venue. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable risking such an important part of my wedding on uncertain shipping.

The strangest part of the entire situation was when I told the seller I planned to contact UPS so I could decline the package upon delivery, since they refused to issue a refund unless the items were returned. The seller explicitly told me not to contact UPS. They continued insisting the package had been dropped off at a shipping processing center, but could never clearly explain when that happened — especially since both “shipments” had the same tracking number despite supposedly shipping on completely different dates.

What upset me most was being blamed for “not stating when I needed them,” even though I had ordered based on the seller’s own original estimated delivery timeline. In the end, I had to contact Etsy customer service directly, and thankfully they stepped in and helped me immediately. Overall, the inconsistent shipping information, refusal to refund, and poor handling of the situation caused unnecessary stress during wedding planning.
