Unai Emery has completely transformed Aston Villa — and it still doesn’t get talked about enough

I don’t think we fully appreciate just how ridiculous the turnaround has been since Emery walked through the door.

We were a side drifting, low on confidence, no real identity, and genuinely looking over our shoulder. Fast‑forward to now and Villa are playing some of the most organised, intelligent, and fearless football we’ve seen in decades.

  • He’s taken players who looked average and turned them into absolute machines.
  • He’s built a system where everyone knows their job to the millimetre.
  • He’s made Villa Park a fortress again.
  • He’s taken us from “mid‑table at best” to competing in Europe like we belong there.
  • And he’s done it all with calmness, clarity, and zero ego.

What’s the best show on HBO Max to watch right now?

Been scrolling through Max and honestly… there’s too much good stuff on there. Between all the new releases, the trailers dropping every five minutes, and everyone arguing about what to binge next, I’m stuck in choice paralysis.

So — what’s actually worth watching at the moment?

Looking for something properly bingeable. Drama, comedy, thriller, whatever — as long as it’s not one of those shows that starts strong and collapses by episode 4.

What’s the best series on Prime Video right now?

Been scrolling through Prime and honestly… there’s too much on there. Every time I think I’ve picked something, another “Top 10 in the UK” banner pops up and ruins my decision‑making.

So, what’s actually worth watching at the moment?

Looking for something bingeable — drama, thriller, comedy, whatever — as long as it’s not one of those shows that peaks in season 1 and then falls off a cliff.
