Why do my minis look so... sandy?

OK, the point here is: Why do all my models end up having such a sandy look? It's like you can see the brush strokes and/or the pigment, not sure whether it makes any sense. I see other people uploading photos of their models, and they look much more clean, neat, with sharp lines and uniform surfaces. Where's my mistake?

10 mm miniatures

Hi there, just a quick question, but where can I find good 10 mm minis? I see Forest Dragon has got nice designs, anyone else I should look for? Also, as I don't have a 3D printer, which sellers are trustworthy, and deliver to Europe?

Kill Team terrain

I've just finished these terrains, not perfect, mistakes were made, but that's what I got at the moment. Hopefully, I will make something better in the future, and thank you to all who helped in reply to my previous post.

Should I weather them more?

Hi there, advice needed here. Should I make the walls like more dirty, sponging some dark brown mud on the lower part of the ruins? The setting is supposed to be a long time ago abandoned imperial chemical plant, now taken over by nature. I plan to add some greens here and there, maybe imitating moss coming up from the soil.

Rules and Units Question

Hi there, I got my rulebook, but inside I see no information about Land Raiders, Spartans, and other vehicle I'd like to deploy. I read they are in the expansions book, but I see there are also cards available. What exactly are the latter? Can I find all I need into those cards to use all the possible units of a faction, without further campaign books?

Help! Need guidance

I bought these Warhammer 40K elements and I would like to put some together and make some terrains, so I need to glue them on some bases. I'm not sure about what material and thickness go for. I read that MDF is hard to cut without tools and I know for experience plastic is too. What about a 1.5 mm cardboard or even a 2 mm cork foil? What do you guys use?
