Rule clarification: Wrecker

So there appears to be some ambiguity around the Wrecker weapon rule. Leviathan Dreadnoughts have this on their Siege Claw, so they can walk up to a building and punch it during the First Fire or Advancing Fire stage. However my opponent today thought he could both punch an adjacent building AND shoot his remaining weapons at a nearby vehicle.

It’s possible this is true, however unlike other weapon rules like Point Defence and Skyfire, there is nothing in the Wrecker rule that says it can’t be used against a secondary target (although it does suggest it can be used against multiple buildings). My opponent believes it’s exempt from the targeting rules because it’s a melee weapon, but I’ve not found anything in the rules that confirms this.

I’ve searched the rule book and the Errata/FAQ for clarification, but neither appear to have anything that says you can (or cannot) do this.

Has anyone found anywhere in the rules that clarifies this?

Only reference for Forgeworld of Tigris (Tigrus) is orange and dark steel colour.

Hey there! I just moved up to Saskatoon and I would love to get find some LI and/or AT players in or around town. I’ve been painting up more LI stuff but haven’t actually found time to play a game with anyone. AT I need to get some more stuff built. I added a few army shots, I currently have a loyalist force. Finally painted the model that got me interested in Warhammer in the first place

Verbus Ultimum (Vrbo to his/its friends) joins my knight household with Solar Auxilia support.

Learned a lot and tried a lot of firsts on this one (first real custom basing, first transfers except for a singular previous attempt, first time cutting up a painted model for basing which hurt my soul). Very happy with the results.

Homebrew Rules/Statistics?

anybody use improvised rules or statistics for their games?

me and my brother use a couple of modifications.such as, tech-priests get volkite pistols and we use sequential hits on titans like in titanicus.

just curious what others are doing, looking to make little changes to the game.

What's the best way to start LI?

I just was talking with my uncle who plays a bunch of epic scale historical stuff and it did inspire me to start looking at LI

Im not really that into the HoHe but I do really like the idea of epic scale stuff?

The starter set seems to have 2 armies? Am I able to maybe combine them if I wanted to play a larger game against someone else? Also how much do I need to play a normal game of LI as it seems to be a lot of points?
