Is new recruit any good
I've been looking for apps to make a Legions imperialis list and I came across new recruit is it a good app?

Okay, I created some free cheat sheets and data cards for my buddies and me and threw them up on a website I made. I tried to be thorough, but it's amateur, so you may find mistakes. I'm going to set up a system for people to report errors.
The cheat sheets are handy to print out -- I bought a 24-pocket bound presentation book from Office Max. Just slide them into the sleeves, and you're good to go. Hoping to do a slimmed-down rules set at some point.
I printed the Detachment data cards on cardstock, laminated them, and cut them out, but you can always skip that part.
Or any 3d models available to buy or convert?
Had a few minis left that I didn’t base and some left over fluff from a model train table. Decided to make a very tiny play field.
Not having played yet, but I'm in the process of building an army. I figured I'd see if anyone actually shells out the points for pintle mounted stubbers and so on, and if you feel it's worth the cost. The only thing that seems particularly worth it from just looking at unit stats might be the Rhino options, and even then maybe just 1 melta and 1 havoc launcher per 4 or even 8.
I'm building Auxilia, and focusing heavily on Russ tanks.
Sharing early clay renders of a terrain piece I'm working on: a sci-fi take on the DT-30 Vityaz, built as an articulated tracked tractor with a small cargo compartment in the rear, towing a separate trailer with a massive container.
Scale figure is included in every shot for reference. The whole combo is big enough that 4 infantry bases can comfortably shelter behind it.
Still WIP — the articulation joint between the tractor and trailer isn't finished yet, and some areas are still light on detail. Any thoughts welcome!
A great 3k game. We both used Titan assets and aircraft for this game. I still can't believe how good the Veletari are when garrisoned in buildings, they made short work of the Assault Marines my buddy sent against them. His Warlord made short work of one of my Reavers but I retaliated with tanks and aircraft to bring his Warlord down to 1 wound. The Sons of Tallarn pulled out a victory by extracting the Vital Intelligence of the Iron Warriors fleet for Command.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a good painting website that just shows up loads of LI paint schemes for different factions that people have painted?
I know there's always searching here and on places like instagram; but I'm wondering if there's any good site that just collects loads of submissions together to make it super easy to browse.

Some photos of yesterday’s game. Death Guard vs Alpha Legion and Mechanicum, 3000 pts. A very close win for the Alpha Legion (by 14 pts). 4 turn played.
Been working on these on and off for what feels like forever. Gaining some momentum though.
Last pic is my first attempt at the armor chipping I’ll be adding to all of them once I finish up the Warlord and get the transfers on the rest. C+C welcome!
I know i know...the arrow is the wrong way XD
Lost one barrel of the Mastodon AA and kitbashed something else instead.
Boy are those Mastodons chunky
So I finally managed to get the turret done, had to do a bit of a kit bash because the barrel was too small, ended up using a grimdark terrain bit for the barrel. For purely nostalgic reasons I felt I sorta had to give it the gold/bronze ish look.
This just came up on another site.
The question is whether something like a Mammoth — a Transport that doesn’t occupy a Transport slot, in this case because it's Heavy Armor — can carry Detachments from other Formations. My instinct is no, based on how the rules handle other non-Dedicated Transports that do occupy a Transport slot (no strangers allowed). But the rules never specifically address this situation, as far as I can find.
Here’s the wording on page 129. The ambiguity seems to come in at the end where they distinguish between non-Dedicated and Dedicated Transports:
"Models with the Transport (X) special rule (or variations of) that fill a Transport Detachment slot are not Dedicated Transports; they function as a normal Detachment, and count towards the Break Point of the Formation. Any eligible Detachment with the Formation can Embark upon these Transports; models from outside the Formation or within an Allied contingent cannot."
So Transports that don't fill a Transport slot seem to be in a typical GW grey area--I'd go with the precedent of how other Transport are handled, but someone might argue it differently.
