Hi, I (F23) have been on Lexapro since September of 2025, and it's been incredible for the most part. The thing I do not like is the low libido, excessive sweating, and my emotions feel a bit more muted (probably for the best; I had lots and lots of emotional breakdowns before starting it). But I can cope with those, most of the time. Anyway, recently my job has brought me a lot of stress, and I'm having a really hard time dealing with it. I'm afraid I'm in a breakthrough depression, and it really sucks. My motivation isn't really there. My sleep schedule is wack. I struggle to fall asleep and struggle to wake up. My husband (M24) has noticed too. He is telling me to lock in, but I feel like I can't. I am looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with the same. Should I talk to my doctor about upping my dose? Or does anyone have a better option? I don't want to stop my medication, but I also do not want to go up anymore, afraid I'm going to become a robot version of myself. So advice would be greatly appreciated! :)
