Bad Experience with GimmeCare (Greenwich) Nad+/Gluthatione Bundle
Last Saturday (May 9th) we placed two orders (our first time) from GimmeCare: Tirzepatide from Hallandale for my husband, and an NAD+/Glutathione bundle for me. We live in Miami.
For both, the prescription got approved in a couple of hours. The Tirzepatide order went great (thanks GimmeCare). It was shipped from Hallandale the next Monday and arrived with great packaging and completely frozen ice packs on Tuesday.
For my order, it was radio silence until Thursday, it just said "order processing." I messaged support on the portal, and they said: "You have to redo the intake because there is a pharmacy that is not operating anymore... Upon checking your account, we found a fulfillment error..."
I replied that I need the meds to prepare for an upcoming IVF cycle, and if they cannot fulfill it, then please refund me.
Then on Friday, I suddenly got a notification that my order has shipped. I got worried right away because, from my experience ordering cold-ship IVF meds, pharmacies never ship these on Fridays or weekends. I was still hoping it's overnight for Saturday delivery. Lo and behold, they dropped it to UPS at 1 PM Friday, with 2-day air service, to be delivered on Tuesday!!!!
That is 4 full days from Houston, Texas to Miami, in a million degrees. It has been 88+ degrees in both cities recently, and we all know trucks and warehouses get hotter. From reading here, the pharmacy is Greenwich. There is no way they shipped it in a proper foam box with enough ice to last 4 days. I did a lot of research and they are both very heat sensitive and should be fridged at all time.
Edit: I received the package. It was an envelope with 1 ice pack and it was warm. I called the pharmacy, they said their shipping is overnight with Saturday delivery (so basically it should have been delivered Saturday) and they see if they can re-ship. Chloe reached out to me as well. I’ll update here.
