Maybe it’s just my personal preferences, but I really feel like the story and characters just meshed a lot better and felt very organic and alive and complimentary. Beau - Caleb - Nott is a fantastic trio especially, and Fjord makes for a good grounding rod for all of them.

By comparison Vox Machina felt a little more forced together sometimes, and the storyline almost felt overwhelming for them. Maybe it was just me though. I wouldn’t call campaign 1 bad after all, not by any means. Campaign 2 just felt like it meshed so much better.

What does everyone else think?

I think the outright worst, most horrible, single handled most idiotic complaint that I ever heard about Stargate is the following:

I once heard someone say that Stargate did a terrible job casting because Samantha Carter was not hot enough to play a leading role.

First of all, no. That’s just your stupidity talking.

Second of all, her acting was fantastic and she did a great job portraying an Airforce pilot AND scientist, whose primary asset certainly wasn’t her looks but her keen mind and combat ability.

Third of all, she looks perfectly fine.

Fourth of all, Stargate got ten seasons which is way more then most, and this was said by this point, so clearly you are objectively wrong, person who I only encountered once over a decade ago who has no taste.

Fifth of all, Carter is fantastic. And her actor’s name is Amanda Tapping. (The actual person referred to her by her character name IIRC)

There. I randomly remembered this and just had to vent. That’s my rant. Now the rest of you can share.

Only stipulations is that:

It can’t be used by main characters

It can’t be used by the Empire.

It needs a decently large amount of interior room to store all sorts of cargo and adventurer trophies and about a DND party’s worth of travelers.

Astromech droid compatible preferred.

Iv been trying to do this research for the past few hours but I can’t find anything that lets me see a list of ships by ship size or class. Any ships that would be a good fit would be welcome suggestions!
