Forging a cuff
Making a cuff from Baker Forge stainless damascus.
Didn’t realize my phone over heated so I got zero footage of the grinding and forging to shape. But the next one is going to be epic.

Finished rough shaping this cuff in Elite Coppermai. Just a quick test etch before finish grinding and polishing. Can’t wait to see the contrast in colors at the end.
My first ever fidget spinner in Chevron Firestorm Coppermai with engraved buttons. Not my finest work but I’m really excited at the possibilities.
Playing around with some stainless damascus for this one. Brazing this stuff together is tough. Nice deep etch and then a light etch in some diluted ferric chloride for some contrast.
New cuff in hand-forged and twisted copper and steel. The contrast came out perfect. What do you think?
Quick test etch on this one to see the pattern. This cuff is made from copper and 1084 that I forged out and twisted. Can’t wait to see the contrast between that deep black and copper after polishing and etching.
Hand forged copper & nickel silver mokume gane bracelet. Lots of activity in this one. I’m leaving it out to sun bathe and get a little color.

Well this one didn’t go as planned.
It started as a dog tag made from a billet of 1084, Copper, & Nickel that I forged, twisted, cut into bars, and brazed together. The original piece cracked while drilling the lanyard hole, but I’m happy with how it turned out in the end.
This one was tough. Stainless steel ring with an inlay of Chevron Firestorm Coppermai soldered together with sterling silver.
Well it finally happened. While forging in the mokume plugs on this worry stone, one of them came slingshotting out and hit me right in the eye. Burned my cornea and iris. Cross your fingers for me.
Twisted Dragonscale with Triple Alloy Momume Inserts.
Hand forged cuff in twisted Elite Coppermai. Perfect twist, no delaminations, and an awesome pattern. What do you think?
Something a little different. A custom cube in different progressions of basket weave damascus. Brazed together with sterling silver and phosphorus copper. The gaps are filled in with black epoxy.
Pattern development on this copper and nickel silver mokume cuff. Really happy with the activity on this one.
Handforged coppermascus ring. Size 11.25 with a 5.9mm band. I think the pattern turned out great.
