Hey indiedevs! I'm here today to tell you about InterfaceX26, what it's about, and my experience of it.

InterfaceX26 is a new festival aiming to put Interface (or Fake OS) games on the map as their own genre. We've got the steam festival, a showcase happening on Saturday, and a game tagging initiative to try and get steam to add a new tag for these games.

Our title was accepted as one of the games, but I've never been involved in anything like this! It has quickly turned into one of the most wholesome communities I've ever been apart of!. Faye (Dear Agony Aunt!) over here says it much better than I could.

There's also an overwhelming presence of women and nb led developers in this space that I wasn't aware of and I really want to give them a shout out:

Lastly, as marketing is something I find a bit soul destroying, I decided to organise some fun alternatives, one of them being an old school 90s webring! You can see it in action on our website - as well as a bit of a puzzle to figure out!

This has been such a great experience, and I hope folks here find interest in these games as much as we do!
