What’s a rap opinion that gets you cooked every time?

When I put people like Tyler the creator and Isaiah Rashad in my current top 5, people tend to lose their minds depending on the age of the person I’m chatting with

What underground artist changed the way you think about rap?

This might sound basic but idgaf. MF DOOM did it for me. Once I discovered him I went back to all the rappers my dad played when I was young and didn’t know artists names like that outside of popular ones

What’s harder to improve: flow or songwriting?

For me I think it’s songwriting. A truly well written rap for me can take way longer to find than a flow that sounds good on a beat.

What’s the hardest creative slump you’ve had, and what got you out of it?

I’ve gone on a camping trip for 5 days and come back and felt sooooo ready to make and create things. I kinda made that my go to, in addition to just getting outside and moving around when I’m feeling blocked

How did you go about marketing your first song or your clients first song?

I think everyone’s different so there’s almost no clear or perfect way. I’m helping artists with promotion and marketing and am interested to see what you guys say

If you only had $100 for the next 4 months to market yourself/music, how would you spend it?

My best guess is that it’d be great to use that 100$ in a couple of different ways, my issue is thinking of exactly how. What do you guys think?

Once I started connecting with engineers and producer personally, I noticed my songs and songs I worked with other artists on sounded like something I’d hear from an established artist (as far as sound quality and production)

Been trying to figure out how to get any of my videos, whether on YouTube, Instagram, tik tok or any social media platform, past 1k consistently while staying authentic. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated, from musicians or anyone in the industry

It hasn’t even been the full weekend, no time really to digest and live with an album, BUT what did you guys think? 5th time though and I absolutely love it. I think it makes perfect sense in his progression as an artist

It can be difficult to keep up with the content based world right now, especially while still striving to stay authentic and not fall into the weird cycle of bot-like marketing. What else have you guys found difficult?
