Before i start i want to tell you something important, this is my first time writing and i want to ask if my story could work or is the ideas interesting and what else you suggest me to do or add and what to improve to i will be very thankful if you help me in the comments and give me advice and reasons for why it may or may not work, i am currently working on half of the first book story for now, the other 4 books will have their time in the future but anyway let's get to the point

It is a slow burn psychological horror story i used to work on for a while and it set in an uncompromising world where supernatural abilities awaken directly from humanity's darkest selfish desires and where easy forgiveness is rejected as a lie, Spanning five books this interconnected saga balances visceral sensory horror with dark absurd humor, it spread into 5 books with 5 separate stories with 5 different characters, each represents something, right now I'm working on MC1 and the others will have their own time in the future to write, i know it sound like i rush everything but i actually don't, I'm still working on the first book story, not rushing anything and keep thinking more deeply about humans nature and mind

the story dive deep into psychology of humans mind regardless if they're good or evil or flawed to explore and understand why some people act the way they're, and although all 5 MCs are equal to me, the first MC is alittle more special for the reasons i will tell

MC1 is raceless, what i mean by that is he born as orphan and his backround or identity is unknown, and i designed him that way as he was meant to have 0 excuses for anyone regardless of age, race, gender, background etc

He is At Age 23, look normal and decent guy, dress normal

He is of course the main lead Protagonist of Books 1 & co protagonist of book 2 with MC2 and his fate is unknown afterward in end of book 2

On the surface, MC1 does not look like a monster or a blood-soaked killer, He is Socially awkward, quiet, composed, and excessively polite and respectful person from the outside, He speaks with formal restraint, and blends easily into daily life, He does not posture, flex, or shout, He also feels zero sexual lust or romantic drive, Beauty, flirtation, and feminine tears have zero effect on him, it has a psychological reason behind that, it's mostly being exhausted of this world for a reason i would rather not mention for now, tho he isn't a typical edgy crybaby who whining because he had tragedy

However Beneath his polite exterior lies an unshakeable, titanic ego and a total absence of tragic self pity, Unlike traditional heroes who fight their dark side or dark villians who are evil but have some goodness inside them that they deny, MC1 has loved both his good and evil nature since birth, and i mean it, He has no tragic backstory, he simply embraces who he is deeply, He also carries years of deep exhaustion and dark impulses for a reason i won't tell yet and part of him wish he could release that exhaustion on others whether innocents or not, yet he strictly refuses to harm innocents people, this restraint is not born of soft hearted empathy, but of sheer pride, his ego demands that he maintain moral high ground and prove himself to be morally superior to everyone else no matter his pain or agony he never breaks his code to harm innocents, but he does harm criminals, Doing the right thing that prove his supremacy to himself, and If he makes a mistake against an innocent, he apologizes not out of guilt, but because his ego demands perfection, his ego and desire for moral superiority is what prevents him from committing crimes or harm innocents but it also his curse since because of it he will face more pain throughout the story, this character shows how flawed humans can be and how complex they can be deeply,

He does not brood or complain about his solitary path, When confronted with his own darkness, he drinks it in with cold, peaceful certainty, in short he is comfortable with his dark side and light side, he also views every human being equally, but equally beneath him, and he does not react with random rage or shouting or anything he customizes his discipline based strictly on the offender's actions, The most vital paradox of MC1 is that he is not an unfeeling robot too, he has a Hidden deep goodness beneath his ego although it rarely exist, this decision i made was to make his unique and special compared to the other 4 MCs in later stories, he is the least with emotional and humanity moments yet those moments exist and earned, as i said he loves his light and dark side both and he is very comfortable with them, although he deeply lean towards his darker side dispite not treating people aggressively and acting normal, he is also honest with himself and own his darkness and not feel ashamed of it

The pacing of my story is not fast and random action sequence or delivering cringy MCU style of humor, it let the story breath slowly and explore the complexity of each characters, however that doesn't mean it doesn't have some pitch black comedy or as they call it dark humor, it's absurd, ironic, and dirty, also the story, symbolism and other stuff all are show don't tell, as i don't want to make characters preachy

What makes my story different from other modern dark stories is the rejection of both everything be black and white or even gray area, it teachs that while life is not all evil and all good and everyone is flawed, some actions and behaviours especially towards other humans have price to pay, as my story reject and against idea of forgiveness is the only way to heal and revenge is a poison, my story flip that outdated boring myth on its head and shows that some people deserves harsh punishments for their actions and victims can live their life while also not forgive because forgiveness is actually the true poison here, it also shows that the villians aren't just pure evil, tragic, corrupted but also some are deeply kind and have good intentions but this is the twist here, no matter how good intentional humans are, they're not pure saints and deeply they have unaware bit of ego and moral narcissism, and wanting to show off to others as wise peace maker and that kind of stuff

As for how they fight and engage with each other in battling, well because i don't want to give more details, i simply say the story's world rules is mix of supernatural abilities but also limited, not full fantasy where everyone is over powerful, there are limits and price for everything they gain all MCs and villians, but those supernatural powers are not dark magic or elements, they're born from the characters selfish dark desires, for MC1 his dark desire or his flaw is his ego, same for the villians and other MCs, and the story explores many taboo topics society and people in general refuses to admit it to themselves especially people who have good intentions, my MC1 goal is him simply to defeat the villains since he can sense they have powers like him, his reasons is to simply defeat those villians to make sure nobody better him in strength and power and ruling the world for themselves, it features intense moments and very disturbing tho not typical slasher movie gores, some even isn't shown to leave it to audience imagination
