Hello, I'm just curious since las Vegas metro is being privately funded by a foundation to get ALPR/Flock cameras (don't know the difference) installed into the state bypassing public debate/input with being privately funded, am I allowed to have anti flock methods on my license plate since it's not state funded or federally funded? (I know stupid question but what's better to ask.)
Hello I recently switched from T-Mobile to att but during the transfer of my number it seems to have messed up my number? I no longer have a caller id when calling out (will show up as private, blocked, or no caller id) my phone won't connect on outgoing calls made from my phone it will automatically go to voicemail even on another person's working phone, incoming calls from others would be met with a "this phone number cannot receive calls" whilst my father and brothers phone are working perfectly. I've contacted support and theyve ran a reset of the service but no to avail.
Hello it's been awhile since this happened (I've kind of gave up but I remembered reddit is there and I haven't used it to find answers) So pretty much I found a GPU (4090) On an auction site and seeing it was in Canada (before the duties and taxes for Americans) I bidded on it 1000$ and while it was on its way the good ol orange boy decided to hit us with duties on imports especially electronics.... I paid about 500$ or maybe 300$ I cant find the email they've sent me for me to pay but sadly it was (obviously now) a stripped GPU so it was useless, ive then gotten a refund from the auction place and sent the card to Asus for destruction or maybe even recycling but now I figured let me look at stipulations and behold! The CBP would take a drawback (basically a thing that says "hey I sent this thing back or destroyed it") so I tried contacting the broker part of ups that contacted me but they keep giving me the run around and saying I paid Canada the import fees and duties tied to it then they gave me the wrong ups customer service number? (1-800-520-9090) Last time I called it was not the right place. Overall they've went silent on me and I'm still trying to get a drawback filed from them so I can claim duties to be refunded.
TLDR: I bought an expensive electronic, paid import and duty fees, basically destroyed the electronic and looking to receive a refund but ups will/would not fill out the proper forms US CBP needs.
Hello I just want to share this funny moment I've had with an Xbox support person who literally doesn't know their stuff (I know I'm not actually filing a class action just annoyed by him and saying shi) they really need to move away from overseas support. I ended up finding a TRUE smart support person who told me what my problem was.
