I don't completely think Carol would just start killing people post-Ch.5 WR, however, it would be funny

Yearlong crashing problem on Windows 11 when playing Steam games - how to fix?

For god's sake I need a solution to this. I don't even play high-end games, I'm only playing Deltarune and other pixel RPG titles until my laptop screen freezes not even an hour in. There's no overheating. I hold the power button to restart as usual. Only then, I can seemingly play without it crashing for the day.

Sometimes I get the AMD popup "AMD software detected that a driver timeout has occurred on your system", sometimes I don't. So it's impossible to find a direct cause. I've already tried that "/scannow" thing and updating my drivers.

Specs: HPEnvyx360, AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics (496MB), 12GB RAM, AMD Software is on version 26.1.1 and says "up to date"
