Predicting my AS grades for tmw

Above shows my school report from April 2026.

I don't even know how accurate it is because the one I had before this one once said I was working at a B and my target for the subject is a C. Which obviously doesn't make sense.

The reason politics stops is because I ended up dropping it because I couldn't keep it up with all of this and other stuff going on.

Drama- A

my best subject I am hoping for an A but probably a B (I did get an A in the coursework)

English Lit- E

One of the teachers refused to mark my work because of spellings. Despite a diagnose disability

Another one said I wasn't trying hard enough

I had an issue with another teacher of the year before long story short: I undermined her by what happened to a conversation with a different teacher where we happen to mention the subject. Said I ruined someone's life used my SH against me

I was terrified to ask any other English due to her help now this year.

Also if you look at the report, I got a three in English or behaviour. Which means I need to improve. I never once messed around I tried my hardest and put in everything my spelling is just shit

Cymreag- D

I'm not really happy with how anything went so I probably got a d

I have a chronic pain illness and it was really triggered on the day of the paper I was literally so unwell

Welsh baccalaureate- B

isn't completely done at the only thing that has been sent off is 1 unit so my predicted grade is what I got so I will have it B on that sectio

Song recommendations

Hi I am looking for some new song recommendations.

My Vocal Range is E3-A4/B4 in chest and then I can go up to F5 with my head voice

I am currently working on "You can Call me Al"

But after that I need to choose my new song/songs

I am obviously still working on my range, while you cannot move your lower voice that much, my teacher still thinks I can go a bit lower in the future, with some training. And obviously I can make my higher range go a lot further with time and practice.

One basically looking for some song recommendations of what I can do next, he leaves it up to me I can kind of do whatever I like.

I would like recommendations for All across My range however I would like to focus on my higher range as I find it to be quite weak, as I don't use it that often.

I am into a lit of 80's and 90's rock/indie type music in general (The Cranberries are my favorite band)

I am also a musical theatre kid.

My favourite musical being Jekyll and Hyde.

All the male roles seem to low (unless you think different)

Lucy would be cool, but she tends to belt those top notes which would be my head voice

I am kind of open to any suggestions 😊

RESULTS DAY PENDING 😭

Is there anyone else waiting for results on Thursday? Please I need someone to talk to! 😭

As RESULTS Day Vent 😞

AS level Results day stress

AS Results day Rant

I just need to vent about something to someone, I don't really have any friends or anyone to talk to about this I don't get on with my family that well.

\\\\# DRAMA

This is probably the only subject I've actually passed, and done well in.

COURSEWORK: my drama teacher told me I have an A in (it could change once moderated but I know I've done well in that)

PAPER: on practice when as I did I got High B's or Low A's. I am hoping to get an A I may get a B.

\\#CYMREAG

COURSEWORK: I chose a bad topic but that was really on me, I don't think I did too badly though.

SPEAKING: it didn't go the best, the teacher didn't really explain how the exam would go. We had about 2 hours before the exam well we could practice in our group from my group didn't even want to practice so yeah....

PAPER: leading up to it the teacher didn't give the most help, even when I asked how to revise she just said make flashcards without actually explaining how to learn the content. One another student asked she explained, more.

On the date of the exam,

\\\\\\\\- a topic came up we haven't been taught.

\\\\\\\\- I was also in a LOT of pain due to the heat, my stress and having my period my chronic pain was extremely bad (I wasn't able to take any medication due to some issues I'm having with it)

I sat down I was in so much pain I couldn't concentrate but if I stood up I felt really dizzy.

I could barely concentrate at all.

\\#ENGLISH

PAPER 1: (Prose and Drama) Prose went well, teacher always gave me good feedback and explained what I had to do to improve so I'm happy with how that went. I did the best I could do and so yeah.

With the drama aspect, it should have been my strength I was doing really bad in it, the only feedback my teacher gave me when she did Mark my work was "don't hand in work with inaccuracies" "improve your SPaG" and similar stuff like that. Despite me getting really low marks, showing that I didn't get the context right, she NEVER gave me feedback on that.

And then on the last past paper we did we did in times conditions, I sent it to her (typed) and she refused to mark it because they were spelling errors

PAPER 2: The teacher was off sick for ages so we didn't have any teacher. (Fell behind schedule)

She would occasionally give dismissive feedback

She also said I just had to "try harder" because I " wasn't trying hard enough"

\\\\# WELSHBACC

\\\\\\\\- only one of the three units has been sent off I think I did okay in that

The other two I have finished first drafts of I have to finish those drafts next year and then I'm done

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_

NOTE

\\\\\\\\- I have one diagnosed neurological disorder, one of the MOST COMMON effects of it is issues with spelling. (School knows about this)

\\\\\\\\- I am getting my autism diagnosis (since I started it through school I'm pretty sure they are aware, it's also kind of really obvious)

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_

\\\\\\\\- the reason I didn't go to any other English teacher when two of my three teachers were being like shit to me. Is because when I was in year 11, I was talking to my drama teacher and then one of the other English teachers just having a nice conversation when they asked me how my English group speaking exam was going, because they knew that was coming up and they wanted to talk to me. So I explained that I was really stressed because of various factors (they're not that important for this story but they are also another issue in themselves but yeah). My English teacher of the time found out about this conversation, she got really mad at me, because I was being extremely rude and disrespectful for going behind her back and I was undermine and her teaching.

She also said I was ruining my drama teaches life because I talk to her about my mental health, so I haven't actually spoken to anyone about anything in ages...

She said a lot more in that conversation where she was getting mad at me example she got mad at me that I was upset that she kept moving the date of the nea speaking exam, which is obviously gonna stress me out when it keeps getting moved all the time and I don't get informed until right before the exam is supposed to be especially since I'm autistic, or using my mental health against me (I can't say what without getting flagged but I'm better now) 😅 but that's the basics. That teacher had a lot more issues overall but yeah

At AS A is the highest at A2 A\\\* is highest

If I re-take an exam I would have to pay. , a 2 paper GCSE is approx £72 😭 AS is more expensive, so that will be fun.

Hello there,

I am a 6th form student doing a subject called the welsh baccalaureate. This is like a skills qualification, it isn't that hard just a lot of work.

1 of the units is called the indervidual Project, where you kind of choose what you want and research about it

My one is on the Healthcare System and medical misogyny.

While i am focusing on the system in Wales (for the most part), I need you'r help over all

\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_

\- I would be grateful if you could take the 2-3 minutes to fill this in. it is ***COMPLETLY ANONYMOUS***

I would be even more grateful if you follow under any of yhses and you took it due to a lack participation;

\- Are male (Lack primary data in demographic)

\- Are aged 23-50 (Lack primary data in demographic)

And then, due to my topic being in healthcare and chronic illness/pain

\- Have some kind of health condition. (counting nerodivergence)

\- Expirenced issues in the health care setting- long waiting times, being ignored etc

However if you are not in these I would still appricate the assistance of filling it in so I can get my data wide spread.

Thanks

What to choose

AHHH.

I have to choose one cranberries song to sing in my music lesson.

But I have no idea how to choose

I love them all so much and I have no idea how I'm supposed to pick one

My current vocal range is about F3 to A4 however we are working on improving that and making it wider.

I am also likely going to sing down as a lot of them are higher in general.

I don't know if I go for something easy like no need to argue all they actually challenge myself and give myself a harder and higher one.

Reference the other song I'm currently learning is you can call me Al, but I am singing it up a bit.

Sooo any options.

I am open to most songs in the cranberries, I am not the biggest fan on the 2001 wake up and smell the coffee album, for the majority of songs but I like a few of them

But yeah please help me choose I don't know what to do

Welsh baccalaureate Fortnight

1 week down... 1 to go

(More likely to because I will have to come in in the last week because I am nowhere near finished)

Basically my school makes us do this extra a level we don't get a choice.

They also make us do most of it in year 12

We basically have two full weeks where we just study this.

We are also in the hottest classrooms in the school 😭 (this is great for my chronic illness)

I can't with it anymore 😭

The waiting game

and here it comes, 'the waiting game'

My AS exams are done, I now have to wait ages to get my results

this is my 3rd Round in Exam 'Waiting Games'

I know I totally fucked up this year, I mean this year was a car crash but, i just want to know,

is anybody else here, waiting for their results too?

I finished my exams a month ago so Only 2 months to go 😅 😭😭😭😭

Coursework: Book recommendations please

This is the SPECIFICATION for WJEC UNIT 5 (the coursework for English lit)

Can I have some recommendations I need 2 books.

It needs to fit this criteria

Where it says to an 'Alevel standard' book such as - Of mice and men, An inspector Calls, Heroes, Jekyll and Hyde, Animal farm are all NOT to a high enough level (as they are aimed at GCSE)
