It’s honestly weird how accurately typology can describe your reactions (INFP 9w8 954)

I’ve known I was an INFP for years, and no matter how many times I took tests over the years, I always got the same result. Recently, I decided to dive a bit deeper into the Enneagram and tritypes, and found out I’m an INFP 9w8 954.
Tbh, I’m kinda shocked by how accurately it describes me. I actually decided to test this with AI. I gave it different hypothetical situations and asked it how an INFP 9w8 954 would most likely react, without telling it that I was describing myself. Then I compared its answers to how I thought I would actually react.
And honestly, the results were weirdly accurate. A lot of the time, the reaction it came up with was either exactly what I would do or really close to it. What got me even more was that sometimes its explanation for the reaction was also really close to the reasoning I would have for doing it. Obviously it wasn’t right every single time, but there were enough surprisingly specific matches that I started wondering how much my type actually influences the way I react to things.
That’s probably what I find so interesting about typology. I expected the descriptions to be relatable, but I didn’t expect INFP + 9w8 + 954 to line up with so many little things about how I react to situations. It’s also made me look at some of my own reactions differently, which I didn’t really expect.
I’m still not sure how much of this is actually the type and how much is just typology being good at describing common patterns, but I’d be really interested to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience with their own type.
