Mayb coz I’m at home n unemployed n studying for exam so my source is more of social media but I’m noticing rampant increase. Not just in India but everywhere. The r@pe cases, the casual harassment, dowry death news etc n i just got told on Reddit that why didn’t my parents try for son coz i said I’m a single child. Random videos of people openly victim blaming . How fucking much patriarchy is ingrained in EVERY tiny thing where u look around uk. The usual mom holding kids n bags with dad holding just a phone. The only mom cooking+working combo. The brother getting less shoutings than sister. I’m almost not seeing any positives n idk it’s scaring me. We don’t deserve this. We deserve a better world for us.

And this month she’s giving 2(one on my bday coz she deserves return gift). She’s repeatedly showering her with gifts every month. This month costed 1-2k. We’re short of money n don’t even have a home and live on rent n pay check to pay check. In the end of month, she asks money from my savings coz of shortage(I don’t earn I’m in studying prep phase n all my savings all from past bday or festivals), in such dire state she’s spending like hell of a 5yr old kid who barely understands the value of it. I scolded my mom on it many times. IDC she’s just a kid! We can’t afford it! A kid doesn’t need gifts every single month ffs!

I did bds and finished my internship by September 2025. Then got my provisional degree in December. We cannot practice or apply for job unless we have the degree. So is my gap of 1 year or 2years?
Also there are no placements in our stream.
