How can I remove scratches from my bike’s petrol tank without causing further damage or affecting the original paint colour? Any safe methods or recommendations?

I’ve been hearing about some theft/robbery incidents happening at night recently in many places in Hosur such as Meenakshi Nagar,Akila Garden,Near Lakshmi Cinemas, and still more parts of Hosur.Does anyone have any confirmed updates on what’s actually happening?
