The Kardashian girls are the perfect example of “women are the most fun when they are single”

Maybe it’s bad to say but the girls were way more fun to watch when they are single.

Khloé before she got with Lamar? That was peak. Then, after the break up when she actually got over him? She was so active and fun. Obviously, now she is more laid back and scared but she stop overthinking too much, I know she will be back.

Kourtney is annoying most of the times but that’s just her personality but she’s definitely less when she’s single. Her post-break up with Younes era was so tea, she was GLOWING.

Kim is used to be so whiny about being single back in the days but it was definitely fun to watch being silly and self-centered. Kim always Diva but the fun kind to watch and root for.

As long time viewer, while still being entertaining to watch, I can always tell when their relationship was rocky by their interactions with each other. One thing I don’t like about how they behaved (they still do to this day): they LASHED out on each other over the silliest thing ever known to the humankind.

They are in a bad mood? Everyone has to suffer but best believe the man at home never received half of the treatment.

Rewatching KUWKT, you can tell the exact time when everything was fine in their relationship and when it started crumbling down. But, you can also tell when they finally got over it and it is always nice to watch.

The most important thing that Sol needs to take from the reunion: Bea is no friend to her 😭✌🏾

I didn’t see a lot people mentioning this but Bea really let Sol take all the lashings when she probably hyped Sol up 😭😭

While I think Sol was wrong on several things, Bea remained silent. Literally Bea alluded that Sol might have been pied more than twice in an interview. How it’s crickets when Sol asks her “I didn’t get pied more than twice?”

Even Titi jumped in and tried to defend Jaiden when she got hit left and right.

Well I guess you live and learn 🤣

Corbin said Melanie told him that Sincere was playing both sides with her and Sol. But, Corbin didn’t believe her until movie night

Melanie probably felt much more isolated because nobody believed her when she expressed concern about Sincere

Corbin shared his side of the story regarding his breakup with Parmida on Nick Viall’s Podcast

To be honest I don’t think he tried at all to make it work with her because he didn’t care lol

KC hasn’t figured it out that once you’re no longer cool with your girl, you’re also no longer cool with her friends….

Just to circle back about the back and forth between KC and C4.

This is my hot take and probably unpopular opinion: I think KC thought that Titi was going to receive all the heat from the girls and they would leave him alone.

However, the girls always said from the start, it was never about Titi. It’s about him. That’s it. We can argue about the details but one thing for sure, the girls have always said Titi did what she had to do. Plus they liked her.

Now coming back to the reunion, KC said that the girls were accepting of Titi, not him. I’m like, yeah? You want them to torch her or something? I’m confused on why he’s confused.

You were with Aniya, they love Aniya so they tolerate you. You’re no longer with Aniya…well bye? What do you want?

It’s literally how women are with their friends’men.

Then something that irked me was Kayda, Melanie and Trinity apologised for the way they behaved but you gonna say “nobody checked on me”. When they say “yes, we did”, now it’s “I don’t remember”.

Yeah, I’m sure you don’t remember.

How come even Jonathan Cheban showed up to Travis’ premiere but none of Kourt’s family was there?

When it will be time to knowledge that it’s getting weird without getting jumped

What’s up with the accent in the children of blood & bone?

I didn’t read the book but if I’m not mistaking, it’s inspired from the traditional Nigerian culture. It’s cool and fine.

I’m not Nigerian, I’m actually Congolese so I don’t know maybe I’m bugging but this isn’t how my Nigerian sisters and brothers’ speak 😭.

Watching the trailer, it’s really obvious it’s not natural but IDK

Also, I love my queen B to the MOON but turn off Energy, tf?

Being black in LI: (Darkskin) BW are hyper aware of their blackness and BM tend to forget their blackness

First and foremost, I’m going to focus on darkskin black contestants because you get a free pass when you pass the paper bag test. Always forgiven and the misdeeds are forgotten.

Starting with the women:

Watching Love Island, it’s very clear Darkskin black women tend to play very safe because their options are very limited. They are often criticised for not exploring but I have to say, even when they are given options, most of the times it’s not great options.

I also want to touch on the oversexualisation of black women. Granted it is a very sexualised show but I’m not talking about the challenges. Often, they are perceived as “cold” not “affectionate” enough. I don’t really care about what anybody says it’s code for doing sexual things because when you’re saying what the other contestants are doing, outside of challenges, most black women aren’t doing that.

This circles back to my point, black women are HYPER AWARE that they are black. Most of the times, you will see them taking slow because they know how people will perceive them if they freaky stuff.

Even outside of those things, just in terms of behavior, Chelley and Olandria got BULLIED last year and they didn’t show an ounce of what that other contestant showed and did (y’all know who I’m talking about).

Being hyper aware of their blackness is kinda ruining their experience because they are more scared of doing “the wrong thing”. Even Trinity, who was the most outspoken and confident this season, shared how it is difficult for black women.

Now with the men:

Darkskin black men are having a different experience than black woman while also facing some difficulties.

Like black women, they tend to have fewer options until Casa. Once it’s casa time, they tend overly composante, sometimes in the detriment of their original black partners. But, whatever all men get disrespectful when it’s casa.

Also, like black women, they get overly sexualised but from what I see on my screen, it doesn’t seem to bother them, sometimes they play into that stuff, especially around non-black female contestants. For example, Chris and Jeremiah, it was VERY clear that this one contestant was fetishising them but it never became a problem until SHE became a problem.

Another thing, from this season: KC and the way he talked about Aniya. Yes, I’m very aware he wasn’t the only one talking shit. However, he’s the only darkskin man on the main cast and this fact changes everything.

I rewatched a bit of the episodes and I really can’t wrap my head around some of the stuff KC said out loud. At some point I was like “are you aware you’re a black man on a white show?”. Zach can be forgiven and given grace, you KC won’t.

Obviously there’s a double standard and unfairness going on but when I see how darkskin black women move in the villa, I’m not seeing the same from men.

Just taking Ace has an example, got alot of hate still but do you imagine, if a darkskin black man behaved this way? Chelley is darkskin and immediately became the face of bullying, when Ace spent most of his season plotting against people (lol).

When misogyny comes to play in the dynamics:

One thing I noticed about people who are KC ultra supporters, they are not necessarily defending his behavior. They can admit what he did could be perceived as wrong but what they are really mad about he didn’t get a pass for it, which comes back to my point of people forgetting that darkskin black men do not benefit from colourism.

But at the same time, they are perfectly okay with putting down dark skin black women like they did with Trinity and Aniya.

To end my post, if you’re a DARKSKIN contestant in a white reality TV show, you should never make the mistake of thinking racism and colourism end when you’re entering the show. You will get criticised harsher than any other. Thats the truth. However, it doesn’t mean you can’t be held accountable if you had bad moments.

This may sound condescending but LI isn’t Love and Hip-Hop. And it’s seems like that some people weren’t aware seeing the reactions but LI ISN’T a safe space for black people.

As disrespectful as Sincere was, I’m glad he still explored fully because he cannot blame Mel for not doing so.

Obviously everyone knows when, where, how and why Sincere messed up.

He’s a liar and always doing the most but it got me to think one thing: imagine Sincere’s personality but not exploring until casa? It would have been such a monstrous disaster.

One thing I don’t really like is when people pretend their couple is holding them back from exploring when it’s absolutely not the case. Pull people for chats, one or multiple times if you need.

Yes, your partner won’t like it. And they don’t have to, their feelings are their feelings but your experience is your experience.

You see how KC kept complaining about not being picked, then not being able to explore (which nobody told him not to). Just picture what Sincere would’ve done in Casa if he had moved like KC and it was already pretty bad what happened.

I don’t want him to touch that money but I’m happy Mel made it to the final, SHE deserved it.

Melanie talking about Sincere “has to fix it” with her mom…it’s in god’s hands from now

The show is over and my good sis is making to the final 4 but god at what price?

You could see at the end of the episode Sincere couldn’t believe it that Melanie still wants to make shit work.

Oh Lord

I’m not worried about what will happen next knowing how viewers act

Kayda is obviously very loved and Zach is hated, so them being at the bottom doesn’t shock me.

Viewers change their mind every single episode and looking at the preview, Zach is probably going to be mopping around and maybe shed some tears. Then, people will feel bad for him. Somehow, he will gain some last minute popularity and they will not care as much about his evil ass.

The viewers are so male-centered, they always feel bad for a man. Look at Dylan and those fake ass tears.

Kayda you will see that finale, don’t worry darling

Black women have been the main characters for 3 seasons straight and a lot of people are mad (even among black people)

Love Island doesn’t care about the black people they are casting and especially black women. Obviously, this is a white show with white producers, distributed by Peacock.

However, they want to make as much money as possible and thanks to JaNa and Serena, they understand one thing: black women bring a lot of audience. As much people love the black female contestants, so many people love to hate on them.

JaNa and Serena were the main characters, then Chelley and Olandria and now Trinity and Aniya (Kayda and Melanie are half black but I would like to focus on dark skin black women).

Trinity and Aniya are running this villa and the show. I think people are catching up on how much black female contestants have so much likability and are popular with a huge black female audience backing them. And, some people don’t like it.

With more and more people watching the show thanks to Serena (and Kordell) mostly, it has brought people who love to hate watch or see black women getting ridiculed.

Somehow a lot of straight men are watching the show instead of building stuff or watching sports but it has brought a lot of jealous men.

They want the girls to be embarrassed and humiliated or even unwanted. However, they might take a few hits but the women always rise up and we have seen since Serena. Even Aniya, who have been embarrassed by KC lame ass, she had moved on and started to stood her ground.

See that’s why they mad. They want black women to be like Kaylor (love her tho), without giving the same grace. Aniya is more sensitive, WHICH IS PERFECTLY FINE but she showed her emotions and people were calling her white washed, like uh?

Black people who calls anything and everything whitewashed are now watching the show and ruining the experience. I swear I need them to go back to watching some BS like Love and Hip Hop because this ain’t the right show for you.

While my clients Aniya and Trinity are getting dragged left and right, I just know once everything is over, they will be the only ones people remember.
