Seeking other gay Catholics to pray the Rosary together

That’s it, really. I already pray the Rosary, but it’s a bit lonely doing it all on one’s own, so I wondered if anybody else would like to join me in doing it. I haven’t got any of the practicalities worked out because I thought that they could be discussed if and when anybody else was interested in doing this. I will leave my email address so that if anybody is interested, they can get in touch: jim09642@gmail.com

I hope that this post is totally okay with the mods. If it’s not, and it is struck down, no harm is done.

Question about gay Christian movies

Does anybody know of Christian movies with gay content, or gay movies with Christian content, that could help to inspire those of us who are gay Christians to be better Christians in the world that we live in ?

A question about Mortal Sin & God’s Forgiveness (asking my fellow-Catholics especially)

When one commits a mortal sin against God, how does it make sense - and how is it possible - to ask God for mercy & forgiveness ?

The problem is, that by committing a mortal sin, one rejects God in a particularly deadly way. One leaves oneself with not a shadow of a claim on God’s mercy. But committing mortal sin puts one in a position of desperately needing the mercy & forgiveness of God, Whom one has told, in effect, to get lost.

To ask for mercy & forgiveness in such circumstances seems, for lack of a better description, so completely wrong. It seems insulting, like adding a further sin on top of the mortal sin. It seems morally intolerable, in such circumstances, to ask God for mercy & forgiveness.

So my question is: how does it make sense, in such circumstances, to ask God for the forgiveness one desperately needs ?

I’m not saying it doesn’t make sense, somehow - I just don’t see how.
