Picked up a AER travel pack v4

Hey gang, I was in the hunt for an alternative to my 45L Peak design and considered the Bellroy 28L but I ended up returning that and instead chose the 28L Travel pack v4 from aer.. it was cheaper, had better pocket management, better quality materials and overall better for my use case.. the straps were the most noticeable upgrade from the Bellroy. AER just does it better I guess and it can stand on its own!. Very happy with my purchase! Considered getting a heroclip next, can anyone recommend a size good for this 28L? Tia

Upgrade to M4 Pro or wait for M5 Pro?

Hey Pro Gang!! Sooo I’ve been using a M1 Pro 16” with 16gb ram since 2022 and have the option to upgrade to the M4 Pro now or wait next year for an M5 Pro.. thoughts? Should I wait or should I upgrade now? Is the M5 Pro worth waiting for? I’m in tech sales my line or work allows me to upgrade every 3-4yrs. Curious to hear from those who’s had both M4 and M5.. thanks! Added photo of the current setup.

Hey baggers gang, recently upgraded to a smaller bag. I was previously using a Peak design 35-45L in Xpac but ran into some strap fraying issue so I decided to claim warranty on it. While waiting for a replacement, I decided to try out this Bellroy travel pack 28L in Olive Green. It’s advertised as no fuss bag bag. My main concern was if it will fit my 40oz hydroflask and to my surprise it did! So far I’m enjoying the simplicity but time will tell. My beloved PD 35-45L travel bag is a beast in comparison. Just thought I’d share some photos and initial impressions. Curious to hear from other owners of this bellroy 28L, I’d love to hear what you think. Cheers

Im a field director for a tech company and travel quite occasionally. I’m enjoying this bag overall and feel the material is mostly premium. Although, it sits half empty everyday. My main complaint and gripe are the straps. They’re flaying off and the seams are falling apart. I wanted to share this with the PD community for insight and advice. Seems this is the weakest point of this bag. Again I’m sharing to get input from like minded folks, mostly to hear from those who also use this bag. I’d love to hear your experience.. thanks in advance!

Hey gang, threw my back out a few months ago and MRI came back with L4/L5 and L5/S1 bulging disc and pinched nerve causing sciatica and back pain. Looking to hear from those who’s dealt with similar injuries and how you recovered and how long. Did you continue to workout and what type of workouts did you do? TIA

Edit:

I want to add that I fully intend to follow my Dr advice and Physician’s recovery plan. I’m only curious to hear about others journey to recovery for insight. I certainly don’t plan to adopt their recovery plan as my own..

Thanks for sharing!
