Hi folks. I told myself I’d buy used dolls only if the hair looked to be in good shape because I didn’t want to learn how do to doll hair… Cut to the gluiest Rochelle I’ve ever seen in my life (I was also so distracted by the glue that I didn’t notice she didn’t come with her wings, so not too thrilled with the seller!) but after several cif cream washes/an overnight soak, she’s perfect. Like she truly had glue nearly down to the ends of her long hair. The picture doesn’t show how bad it was. I couldn’t find a scent free version so she def smells like cleaning product, but the scent now makes me think of taking care of my dolls. This wingless g1 Rochelle and I are bonded for life, I’m never giving her up haha. Highly recommend! I found the cif cream at Target.

I’m extremely new here. I’ve longed to start a collection since 2014, started selling my American girl dolls on eBay, and thought, you know what? This’ll fund the Minster High Dolls I’ve always wanted! I bought from what looked like a good source on eBay. Paid like $60 with tax and shipping for what was advertised as an original 2012 Venus McFlytrap. I left to get a coffee with a friend this morning, came home to see the package… in a plastic slip bag instead of a box. Red flag already. I grab it, it’s wrapped in something but not even bubble wrap. I know it’s going to be bad. I see the seller’s name on a sticker with an accompanying bible verse. Uh oh. Now I know it’ll be worse than I thought. I go to open it up… She’s a creeproduction and the box is all banged up lmfaooooo. On the bright side I messaged the seller and they gave me a 100% refund within like five minutes. Might go towards my G1 Lagoona fund 🤷‍♀️ I still love her and plan on keeping her! Venus is my favorite. I might as well take her out of the box, but I have commitment issues with boxes of dolls that I can’t get in the store right now lol.

Long story short: have you made any mistakes when purchasing/has a seller shorted you before?

But I recently found all of my Fruits Basket stuff from childhood and I thought I’d put it up on eBay. I’d much rather sell it to fans over random toy resellers, so I thought I’d post here to let you know. I have listed: A complete Hamtaro’s Hideaway set, a nearly complete Bijou’s Bedroom set (just missing the tiny carrot), a nearly complete Ham-Ham Hideaway House (just missing the fireplace and purple chair), a ton of complete sets of hamsters in a haul, and a set of three small plushes (Hamtaro, Bijou, and Pashmina). Honestly, this has absolutely been posted before, but I think people need to be reminded of it every so often. Cynthia did a magnificent job. Ariana was under-qualified as usual. Can’t dance, can’t even run down a hallway. This spiritually feels like her current choreography, I can’t explain it. Have fun with this!
