My face is so red and I sweat so much

I have very severe social anxiety and I am new immigrant in America. I moved in yesterday with roommate who is born and raised American. Because my social anxiety, I get very scared I will say wrong thing, and my English is very poor.
Just now he say “goodnight” to me and somehow I hear “good morning” and say good morning back . It was instant response. Like I obviously know difference between goodnight and good morning, but for some reason my mouth speak before my brain think.
I feel so dumb honestly. My face got so red and sweaty immediately. I am embarrassing myself more and more every day. ☹️
What do I do?

Thanks

My face is so red

I have bad social anxiety and I am an Arab living in America. I have moved in yesterday to a fob roomate. He speaks Arabic primarily as he is from Damascus. With my social anxiety I get so scared to say the wrong thing as my Arabic is broken. Just now he told me Tisbah ala khair and I misheard Sabah alkhair for some reason and instantly said Sabah al noor. I’m so dumb like I genuinely know that what I thought he said meant good morning but for some reason I instantly replied. my face got so red and sweaty. I am embarrasing myself. Can anyone comfort me??

Thanks

AC problem

I moved in today to an apartment with a roommate. It is hot outside and he seems to not like to have the ac on. I asked him and he told me he never uses the ac for whatever reason. I am burning up though and the issue is that I want to turn the ac on but I also have social anxiety and don’t want to cause a problem with him on our first day. It’s not central ac but a loud wall ac unit. What should I do?

Lubuntu noob question

Hi, I am a new Linux user and I am using lubuntu for my first ever Linux experience. I just had a question which may be a dumb question but my laptop has 4gb of ram. On windows task manager it would show up at x/3.8 when looking at ram usage. But on lybuntu it shows up at 3.59.

Did I download lubuntu incorrectly? Because it seems to have less available ram or a lower ram limit than windows did.

Please and thanks 🙏
