Patchwork first, then pattern?

Hello! I have fallen in love and need help thinking through how to make these beauties. Would this be a, make the patchwork first then cut out the pattern situation? The heart would be added in after? Overwhelm with fabrics and ribbons and there doesn’t have to be any real design choices other than color? They’re so beautiful I need to make a pair

Polish saved because of bingo

Decided to give polish bingo a whirl and for whatever reason “crustacean” was really inspiring me. So I use this neon red that I normally do not like on me, and have been thinking about destashing. But now when I look at it I’m like “this is so crustacean!” And it brings me a lot of joy!

I don’t even know where to start

Hello old homes and creepy basement owners. I have these haunting walls that I am unsure what to do about it. I did not paint the walls, previous owners did. But what do I do? Is it “that bad”. I know it doesn’t look great.

Is it mold? Mildew? A secret third option?

Is this something I can do? Elbow grease? Do I call someone? Please help
