Buzzing/Rattling

I bought a GLI a couple months back and I’ve been hearing some buzzing/rattling noises in the rear view mirror housing and on the left dash/door, which got progressively annoying so I took it in to the dealership. The dealership came back saying they didn’t hear anything… I took one of the front office guys on a drive to demonstrate, and he acknowledged it and passed along the info to the technician. The tech looked at it again, drove it, and again said he didn’t hear anything, then they started saying that my windshield tint would negate warranty on the rear view mirror issue because it would mean it was tampered with by the guy who did the tint. By this time I was pretty pissed because I had to waste two trips to the dealership for the runaround, and the guy kept telling me it wasn’t his decision yada yada… I’d have to wait for the manager when he gets in…. I’m feeling pretty frustrated and just wondering if anyone has dealt with this. It’s so frustrating to have a brand new car with cheap sounding rattles throughout the dash…

Grafton mystery

Alright so I don’t believe in the paranormal, I just think it’s kinda fun, but I had a weird experience in Utah on a road trip from CO to CA. My wife and I are into spooky stuff so we wanted to visit grafton ghost town and we stayed in an Airbnb close by while we checked off a few bucket-list hikes.

Behind our Airbnb was a beautiful butte (hah) a couple miles out, so we trekked over to it for lunch on our last day, and we came around to a wash. In the middle of the wash a “scarecrow” looking thing with wood pieces loosely strewn together with wire. It looked like a stick-figure torso. My wife and I joked that it was the Grafton Blair Witch.

So we head back and I slump onto a chair on the back porch, and this rock is sitting on the armchair. I hadn’t noticed it before, and it was the exact same symbol as the stick figure in the wash. That made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I tried searching the symbol and didn’t really come up with anything. Does anyone know what it is? Is it a trail marker? That was my first thought but the stick figure wasn’t on a trail so I’m a bit confused.

We left the next day and it’s been nagging at me since.

Low oil light after oil change.

Hey there... long story short I put a deposit down on a 2020 GTI SE (manual) with white exterior. It only has 30k miles on it listed for 25k and I asked to see pictures of the oil filter to make sure it looked okay. The dealership (BMW of Weatherford, Berkeley) worked with me and sent pictures. All seemed to check out, but then they told me after fitting the new filter/housing on there was an intermittent low oil pressure message, so we had to postpone purchase talks. That kind of freaked me out, but I'm not super knowledgeable on cars, so I don't know if this is something I should be worried about?

I asked if the light came on while idling or driving, and the guy said while idling and that his service dept replaced the oil filter housing as part of their vehicle inspection and service. He said the service team found a tiny bit of moisture at the housing/gasket, so they just replaced the gasket preventatively and put the old housing back on. He said they had to hold off on business office phone call until he got the green light to move forward. That was on friday, so I'm assuming I'll hear back monday. I'm happy they're telling me that the oil light came on, but now I'm unsure if I should move forward. The listing price was 25k with a bs $800 add-on fee for like lifetime battery insurance or something, but all in all still seemed like a good price based on the overall market right now.

I know these things are complex, but can anyone shed some light on what could've gone wrong and if this is something that should be a major red flag, or if it's just good tech
