I replaced the F/R pads on my Miata. I compressed the rear caliper piston and was able to mount the caliper on the new pads, with little to no force. However, I didn't pay ANY attention to the orientation of the " + " on the caliper piston. The car brakes in a straight line and there isn't any noise. Do I need to remove the caliper and make sure the "+" orientation is 'correct' or can I just assume things are where they need to be based on the braking performance of the car?
