The abilites of a Titanfall pilot in Apex Legends
Lately i've been thinking about the abilities a pilot legend could have in apex.
The most obvious passive ability would be the wall run however apex maps aren't built with wall running in mind so the ability might be very inconsistent especially when comparing different maps like e district and storm point(e district has flat walls everywhere while maps like storm point are mostly rocks that you won't be able to wall run well on). But still, it is an iconic pilot ability and I can't see a pilot without it in apex.
Wall running is already in apex in wild card mode so it's possible it might be given to a legend.
For balancing the ability well my idea would be to give the legend at least 2 passives where one of them is the wall run, the wall run would recharge just like ashes dash or sparrows double jump. I would add a second passive because, like I said, the wall run would be very inconsistent so it would be kind of a gimmick but still useful. Or it could be more balanced to have just the wall running, I'm not entirely sure.
Now for the tactical theres a lot of different things you could add. From what we've seen with ash and Valkyrie, they've been given abilities of titans so i think adding a titan ability as the tactical would be the most logical move.
The vortex shield would be the most obvious choice as it's an iconic titan ability that even BT has. I also think it's the most likely ability that he could be given as the vortex shield was already tested in wild card mode so it's obvious that they're experimenting on it and considering it as an ability. The only problem with the vortex shield would be that it could be too overpowered.
Now the ult is my favourite idea, which i think fits apex really well. My idea is to give the legend titanfall 2 movement for a certain amount of time. That includes slide jumping, high jumping, double jumping, wall running, and faster running. Now I'm not sure how broken this would be, there would probably need to be some nerfs to it to make it fair but that's the rough idea.
If you have any ideas about what could be changed, give them to me. I won't rest until I create the perfect titanfall character in apex legends.
